Well located but looks old and neglected

Staff friendly and courteous but hotel does not give a positive vibe, resembles more of an old run down hotel. Room not very spacious and doesn't look very clean. Rooms smelt strongly of cigarette smoke eventhough it is supposed to be a no smoking room.

We had trouble getting the TV to work, asked for help did not receive any, finally managed to get it working. With the air conditioning going there was a leak in the toilet resulting in a large pool of water on the floor. Room service food and bar food were terrible. Ordered a seafood pasta and a pasta Carbonara with the pasta being Penne for both. Received spaghetti swimming in oil and not sure what the seafood was?. The Carbonara was exactly the same but instead of a mysterious seafood there was chopped ham also swimming in oil. We ordered a club sandwich at the bar, the filling was tasty enough except for chunks of cheese but the bread was very ordinary as all around the edges it was a crisp so in all could only eat the centre section. Breakfast was acceptable.
