Staying at Ibis Casa Sidi Marouf was very disappointing. I selected the hotel because of the convenient location, with not big expectations being it an Ibis. However the experience was far below any acceptable standard. First, the room: I booked a junior suite, which should have included a lounge zone, with a sofa. Instead I got a very mean room, with no lounge area, very dark and exposed on both sides to a highway bridge. Amenities, were totally lacking: just two shower towels, two small bars of soap, no shower gel/shampoo. On some days, I was left with only one towel. Second: The room, was very cold and despite I asked to assist me in making the room warmer on the first night things never improved. Third: check-in experience. I checked in around 1.pm and I was given a room that was still being cleaned. Fourth: reception and service: I called the reception at 9.pm several times and no one picked up the phone nor called me back. I had to go to the reception and no one was there. A guy was sitting in a back-office having dinner. Every day when I came back from my business meetings, I discovered that my key was deactivated and I had to go back to the reception. First time I thought it was a due by some technical issue, but the same happened every day. I do not know if it is some internal procedure, but I should have been told to reactivate the key when getting in and avoid going up and down like an idiot. Fith: breakfast. the restaurant was very cold, wth people wearing overcoats while having breakfast. Mise an place very poor, with limited refill of juices, pastries and even cups for coffee. Tables very dirty and no one was taking care of clean them for the incoming guests. Sixt: restaurant. I had lunch and dinner. Lunch set with salad buffet (?) and a plate. Salad buffet very poor, with almost empty bowls, with no refill. At the dinner the salad buffet looked like it was made with le leftovers from lunch. The only main course option was very small. I would have gone to the bar to get a burger, but it is a basement with people smoking inside. I'm not use to complain, but the experience was regrettable and I could not wait the end of my staying. Obviously, I not going to book at that hotel again.

It was a bit disappointing. No proper wardrobe that can close. No kettle with coffee or tea in the room. restaurant food was not always fresh.

Walking into my room and seeing the condition of the curtains, having light shine through holes in the lining of the curtain, did not start my experience well. I am accustomed at this price level, to have a kettle with coffee available in the room. The when my 1 towel was left for replacement on the floor 3 days later, it was not replaced and I had only 1 towel left. With hairwashing, I use 2. The bathmat was removed on about day 4 and never returned. No glass was even available if I had wanted to drink water or cold drink. one evening the service in the restaurant was very good. The others there was a different, younger supervisor and the service was not very good. Breakfasts did not have a good selection of fresh food. But the security was good and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the lady from the bar was very helpful.

Good rooms with very good cleanliness and timely room service. The common area is very well decorated with ample board games and even a foosball table which makes for quick entertainment when waiting for the taxi. However, the breakfast buffet can definitely be improved to make the stay even more comfortable.

I was incredibly dissatisfied with my one night stay at this hotel. As I was drifting into what should have been a very pleasant sleep, a complete stranger unlocked my room door and walked in with his suitcase. I screamed at him and he quickly left. When I spoke to the receptionist (she claimed to be the manager), she said that he must have got the wrong room. Which was fairly obvious given that I was lying in the bed partially clothed! At no point did she acknowledge or apologise for the fact that an Ibis employee must have given the guy the wrong key card! I demanded another room but was told that the hotel was fully booked! I asked for a refund and was completely ignored. The 'manager' then said that she had now changed my access card so that I was the only person able to access room 212. Why wasn't that always the case?!?! I returned to the room and checked online to see if the hotel was fully booked. Surprise surprise, it wasn't! Using the leclubaccor website I was able to process a room booking for one of three rooms that were available! I didn't feel particularly safe in the room and put my suitcase alongside a chair up against the door. Which wasn't the best idea given that it was my only fire exit! However, the idea of someone else walking into the room whilst I was alone in a foreign country and being attacked seemed far worse. I've emailed my complaint to the company, but over 48 hours later I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement, refund and an apology! When I checked out if the hotel the reception staff apologised and didn't make excuses for my disastrous stay! However, I'm still incredibly disappointed with my overall experience.

Desdpite to be in new fashion IBIS renew recently, the quatilty of this hotel is still low, most probably due to a lak of Managemetn care. Despite of two claims, the staff didn't change the bed sheets with holes, nor put hangers, nor put a second towels in the bathroom. Trace of blood on the curtains, and a limited cleaning. According to the staff, the lack of bedding and towels is a voluntary decision of the management of the hotel. Icy hotel without apparent heat, even in the dining room where diners take their breakfast with their coats.the overall image of the hotel saved by a butler having done a quality service and attentive to the bar, and who served one morning at breakfast. The only day the staff was present, anxious to bring customers satisfaction. If noto the four morning a furtive staff hung up coffee at the croissants at the restaurant, to leave in the pantry. Room service, or personal breakfast service for hungry staff?Hotel without interest or attraction! een due to the noice of the bridge in construction closed to the hotel. Unlicky I got a room over the main street!

Except the bar where the Maitre d'Hotel provided a professional service (even when he was working at the restaurant for the breakfast, the rest of the hotal does not deserve attention! In spite of the renewed demand, no hanger in the room, bed sheet with holes, only one towel per double room, state of the towels lamentable. I received as an explanation that the management of the hotel did not want to spend in towels and other fabrics. No heating in the rooms, but not in the dining room where customers keep their coats because of the cold. unfortunately room overlooking the avenue, the work of the new bridge, so concert horns ... The day the famous "maître d'hotel" was not there, the breakfast was starved. The staff went by for coffee and croissants, but missing the restaurant where I did not find a spoon or fruit juice, all in a Siberian frieze! Ibises from Casa Central Station, Tangier, Rabat showed me that the service of IBIS can be correct in Morocco! But here "the habit is not the monk", even renovated this hotel is of poor quality.. This is the first time I visited the hotel since the transformation, and I was quite impressed by the new look and feel of the hotel. I had a warm welcome upon my arrival and everything was going well until the dinner. The choice on the menu is already quite small (specifically for the starters) but when your first choice is missing, this is bad. Also, the quality of the food can be improved (undercooked fish), as well as the speed of service. The freshness of some stuff in the salad buffet was also subject to caution (like the eggs). The night was OK, despite some noise coming from the bridge under construction. Ennoying, but independent from the hotel. But the worst was the check-out. I have never seen such a boorish receptionist with such a negative attitude. My check-out was early (5:30am), but this should not be an excuse.
