The biggest disappointment of our stay was the concierge. Unfortunately, my interactions with her were so poor that they significantly affected my overall impression of the hotel. When I approached the concierge desk, she never looked up or acknowledged me. I stood directly in front of the desk until she finally addressed me, and even then, I found her manner rude and condescending. I asked for a restaurant recommendation, and her response was, “Have you tried ours?” I explained that I had, and when she asked what I thought, I told her I was looking for somewhere with drinks and a nice menu that could accommodate our party of six. Rather than offering any assistance, she told me I needed to speak with the front desk. The contrast was remarkable. The front desk staff immediately helped us, made an excellent recommendation, and secured a reservation for six. We ended up having a wonderful evening and were very appreciative of their assistance. Throughout our stay, the concierge frequently seemed more interested in speaking with two men who appeared to be hotel staff or management than in assisting guests. It was very, very disappointing. Unfortunately, despite the positive aspects of our stay and the excellent help we received from the front desk, I would be unlikely to book this hotel again based solely on my experience with this one employee. A concierge is often the person guests rely on for local knowledge and assistance, and I expected a much more welcoming and professional level of service.

Nice view over old town ,very well situated, nice food

The front desk staff made our stay enjoyable, and the cleanliness was as good as we have ever encountered. We will defiantly stay again on our return to Istanbul

The location of the hotel was excellent, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean. The main downside was the breakfast area, which was always very crowded. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the reception staff. They were not particularly friendly or helpful. On several occasions, even after calling reception multiple times, we were told, “Yes, we’ll be there in two minutes,” but nobody came. This definitely affected the overall experience and is an area that could be significantly improved.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, making it very convenient to explore the city and get around. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended!

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality and professional service. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Istanbul, with bus stops directly opposite and next to the hotel, as well as quick and easy access to the metro near the sea. Despite being centrally located, the hotel is quiet and away from the noise and crowds, making it a perfect place for a comfortable stay.

No flexibility with breakfast, checkout time

Dear Management Team at Mövenpick, I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at your property. I booked my reservation through the Accor website and, shortly after, called the hotel directly to confirm whether breakfast was included in my rate. The staff member on the phone confirmed that breakfast was indeed included, and I have the call logs available to verify this communication. However, upon arrival at check-in, I was treated poorly simply for asking to verify whether breakfast was included or not. While the staff member at checkout made an effort to help resolve the issue, the negative impression and damage to my experience had already been done. One of the values I hold most dear is integrity and keeping one's word. The location is wonderful - walking distance to everything and next door to an amazing Hamam. Also inhouse spa, sauna, pool, salt & steam rooms,

I paid more money they didn’t deduct my points and they promised me that they will refund the amount of 120 euro

I didn't expect a 5-star hotel to be like this. I had multiple issues during my stay: - Housekeeping: The room cleaning was poor. Dirt marks on the mirrors and hair on the floor were still there even after the room was cleaned. There were also red marks and spots on the duvet cover, which were still present even after it was changed. - Missing amenities: The iron and ironing board were taken from our room without any notice while housekeeping was servicing the room. - Facilities: One night, there was no hot water at all and we froze. I informed reception, and after looking into it, they told me there was an issue with the hot water system that they were investigating. I would have expected them to be aware of this before I had to tell them. - Dining: The cups in the breakfast area were consistently dirty, and I had to swap them several times to find a clean one for my coffee. On the third day, all the watermelon tasted and smelled like it had been cut with an onion knife. There were many more issues besides these. Overall, I won't be considering Mövenpick as an option in the future and will certainly reconsider using Accor.

We had a room with a leaking roof, a non-functioning AC, and a broken remote control. Despite several attempts over the course of four days to get these issues fixed, nothing was done. We were repeatedly reassured that someone would take care of it! AC issue solved in our last day! Even after we checked out, we emailed the hotel in the hope that they would at least acknowledge the situation and respond. Unfortunately, nothing happened. This is poor management at its best and, unfortunately, gave us the clear impression that the hotel simply does not care about its guests or their experience.

Location is convenient as you have bus stop just in front of hotel ;) Hotel is very new with all necessary things needed. Nice rooftop for breakfast but not for drink, almost nothing to choose and no one.

The hotel location was good but the facilities where underwhelming for a Movenpick hotel. The service isn’t great as well, I am a platinum member and usually when I check in - there is a welcome amenity, at the same time welcome drinks, was trying to claim this and the waiter said he didn’t know about it. I told him to confirm with the front desk as there is a sign there on the vouchers but refused to do so. It could have been solved there if he had just checked with the front desk. Housekeeping cleaned the room but left dirty foot prints, bed was not made well and only gave us foot towels when we asked for fresh bath towels. When we had to request bowls in the morning, they did not come until several follow-ups, and so on. Everytime, we needed something just took time or they sent the wrong thing. Just very disappointing for a Movenpick hotel where service is usually great. Restaurant had good roof top view but food isn’t good at all.

We spent 5 nights in this brand new hotel. It was very well situated in the old city and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were excellent.

Reception never picks up the phone. Wifi did not work properly and even after complaining nothing was done.
