We stayed 7 nights then returned for one night. We unexpectedly got upgraded to the most beautiful room with panoramic views of the Gallata Tower. The staff assisted us with transfers and could not have been more helpful. Great place to stay.

My trip to Istanbul was cancelled by the airline the day I was traveling there. I emailed and called the hotel to explain the situation which was completely out of my control. I asked to receive a credit for a future stay or a partial refund due to the situation. I was denied without an email reply or a phone call returned. Very disappointing and horrible customer service. It was a life long dream to visit Istanbul. I was so disappointed by the situation and was hoping for some humanity from the hotel. I will not be recommending this hotel or visit in the future due to this unfortunate experience.

Our first impression of the M Gallery was very positive with a very nice welcome at 2am! Our room was spacious, pleasant and quiet. All the hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. The bar was a pleasant place for an evening drink.

We got in late, and there was nothing but a warm welcome waiting for us and an upbeat bellman who walked us through how the keycard system worked the lights and a/c, and made sure that we knew to ask him, or any of the other workers there, if there was ever anything we needed. The cleaning service was always timely and the front desk was always smiling and helpful. I really enjoyed the spacious room and the rain shower showerhead was a definite highlight after a long day of sight-seeing.

check in was a breeze - i arrived at about 230am- the hotel was a little dark but it was alright. there were staff around fully manned. the room was big . bathroom a little tight but still ok. the ceiling was domed shaped which was cool. i was on the second floor. so when in the room at night and the lights are on. i think outside can see inside the room. so i had to lower the blinds once the sun went down

We like the design of MGallery hotels in general and location of this particular one, so we decided to choose this one. The style of the hotel was good but we experienced strange behaviour of the staff. 1. Reception. We've seen free rooms in Accor App, but when we arrived we were told by the lady at reception that there is only one room avaliable, athough online there were 3 types. She insisted we can not book online the other types, only the one she pointed out. So we did it this way and got super small room with no view although we were able to pay for a better one. The mirror in the bathroom was broken in 2 places, the room maybe needed a little renovation to look fresher. 2. Breakfast. The lady who controlled the work of breakfast was very unpolite telling us "you have 10 minutes left" and showed with her finger on the watch. It happened every day. After paying 400 euro per day we felt like in prison having our breakfast. Waiters were unatantive. Every time we needed something automatically ment we have to call and catch someone. No one offered us coffee or hot dish - not a single time. We had to ask for it ourselves after spending time catching waiters attention. 3. Room staff. Our maid was a total disaster. She tried to make friends with us, touched my child face with her hands, slapped me hardly on my shoulder several times. Then she started attacking us every day - catching us in the corridor trying to talk to us. When we showed we are not happy to communicate that much, she started bringing a lot of water every day to our room when we were inside - obviously she wanted tips and were extremely active about it. Then when she didnt get any money from us, she started regularly knoking on our door and rush into the room even when there was "do not disturb sign" on our door - to tell the truth, it was the first time in my entire life when I saw hotel maid acting like this. On the day when we were leaving and packing our staff she knocked on our door again and when we opened it, she just stayed in our room together with us while we were packing suitcases. It was insane. She tried to talk to us, catch our attention, touch me and my child. We were in a rush packing the suitcases and didnt want any additional people in our super small room. When we tried to leave she was very disappoined of still not having any tips from us and started asking agressively if evething was ok with the room, giving us water again and etc. We literally ran away from her. I was leaving the hotel fairly angry because of her behaviour. 4. On the last day when I came to check out, the gentleman at the reception did not pay any ineterst to our check out - like asking if we liked a stay, if everything was ok or at least giving us a smile. He was gloomy and busy - not friendly at all(( According to everything written above, Im sorry to say that we have very mixed feeling about the stay. Kind regards, Miss Alla A.

Helpful staff, but I wish I spoke Turkish! However, my room was not properly turned over or on daily service: splatters up the walls, toilet brush broken, frayed old Sofitel towels, Average food. Bar/lobby was not properly supervised. Convenient but too busy a location for me personally, and with no AC you had to eave the windows open even though it was hot, noisy and the smell of cigars blowing in from the rooftop bar.

We had an incident cade that while we were in the room, door was opened without priort notice by cleaner. It was quite nervous that time but hotel manager he explained that is happened by cleaner with short concious and they trained them again.

We are platinum members of Accor so have stayed at many. This hotel looks lovely. We found the service to be lacking a bit for this level of hotel. The only exception was the bar staff at the ‘rooftop’ bar who were very good. We stayed at a lower ‘rated’ Accor across the river which had amazing service, so we were a little disappointed. Beds were comfy and views from our suite amazing.
