The hotel is within walking distance of Metro, trams and ferry services, as well as major attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Front Desk were English speaking. Our room (with balcony) was spacious, well appointed and in very good condition. There was an excellent breakfast, with a wide variety of choices. We had one meal at the hotel's restaurant, which was OK but not outstanding.

I called twice internationally to discuss my reservation, but I never received a confirmation email afterward. After waiting several days for a reply, I started to feel uneasy about whether I could trust this hotel. However, the check-in experience was excellent and the staff were very helpful.

The problems started one day before my check-in. The hotel informed me that they did not get payment. In my App and Accord web-page it said " Fully paid ". They have not made the charge from my card. I checked from my bank and they where not the problem. The hotel was. I payed at the check-in. The man at my check-in was not friendly. He just wanted to sell me tours (prerhaps from his friends company) and got annoyed that I didn't want to. I am ALL Gold member and the man stuffed me in -1 floor in some cellar room. For 1 week trip that was not nice. The rest of the staff was very friendly. The airport transportation was just awful. I payed 80 euros for one way. I have to wait for 40 min outside the airport for my driver to show up. They didn't ask for the payment until the hotel check out. They demanted cash only. And the same guy at the check-in was there. He ackted like it was my fault that HE forgot to ask for the payment before that. Luckily I had 80 euros in my wallet. I think the workers have some transportation-scam going. There hotel should do something about this. The Irish bar had very nice staff and the housekeeping was excellent! The best thing in this hotel was the housekeeping! I usually been very satisfied Accord hotels, but not this time. FYI: It can 1,5 h from the hotel to the airport.

I loved my whole stay at this hotel. Everything was amazing, staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms were super comfortable and clean. Location was so convenient and walking distance to multiple attractions. Absolutely loved it and cannot wait to come back.
