As a first timer, I was looking for a hotel near the main tourist attractions. The Levni Handwritten Collection delivered this - the main attractions were within walking distance. The Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace were all within range. While the rooms were not large, they did have everything needed for the stay. However, the highlight of the stay was the service provided by the staff. The reception staff helped with transfers, gave us directions to get places, getting our luggage to the room. While not everyone, Gorkeh, Barie and Julia were excellent to deal with.

The hotel location is exceptional.And the triple room has a fixed bed, which is good for three persons. However, the rooms isolation is poor, so you will be hearing door slamming, and the other tenants in the hotel. Also, the room paces is small. And the view of the back side is poor.

The hotel location is very convenient with walking distance to the historic sites (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace). Tram line 1 is just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are well equipped and the beds a so comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially Ms Lale, the breakfast Hostess, she is always smiling and chatting friendly to the guests. I'm a Accor Explorer Platinum member but did not get any welcome drink, as I usually do as Platinum member. The requested late checkout could not be granted since the room attendant is off at 14.00, we got late checkout until 13.00 only and could freshen up in the Spa before our flight later in the evening. Overall, a great stay. I can recommend this hotel.

Hotel location great. Staff friendly. There were 3 issues with our room which have reduced your rating. Mini bar cups and glasses not changed and coffee and water not changed on 3 of our 5 nights with you. Patio doors did not fully shut which allowed a strong draft due to the windy conditions and a cupboard door handle came off on arrival at the room when your staff member opened it and this was not fixed.

This was the second time staying at this hotel as we stayed in 2025. For this trip we had too many issues and only 1 was rectified as follows: 1. Mattress was sloped to one side so felt like you were going to slide right off. (Fixed with different mattress) 2. Toilet door was see through so there was no privacy for our children. 3. The showerhead was apparently damaged before and when you turn it on, water would spray out from the side and then fall down. Causing damage to the ceiling and wetting you after you finished showering. 4. Our room was located on the ground floor on another building which we find was not built conveniently and was also next to the road, so you can hear vehicles passing by and causing disturbance throughout. 5. The connecting rooms had a small corridor and there was a light with a motion sensor that was the most irritating for us even while we were asleep as we left both doors to the room open all the time. 6. Our rooms were located next to the elevator so you could have heard some disturbances from other guests and anyone walking and talking roght outside the room but more importantly there was a phone that would ring once every 20 minutes or so that was extremely annoying. 7. There was no shower niche in the bathroom that our children were staying in which was a really poor design of the hotel. Also the rooms were very small and cramped. We complained about all these issues and never got back a refund or points or anything. I would like to ask the manager’s if there were to go somewhere and buy an apple that was damaged or rotten on a spot, if they would return it to the shop or if they bought a piece of clothing that had a fault or had some soil on it, would they return it or accept it as they paid in full. These are just simple simple examples to understand that we would have paid the hotel in full, however we didn’t pay to have all these issues, yet we weren’t offered any compensation. We looking forward to a credit of one night stay whether in cash or points.

First of all, I think this is an excellent hotel in Istanbul. Great service, convenient location (right next to the Marmaray line, walking distance to the famous sights in Sultanahmet), newly refurbished and modern-looking room with a French balcony. Oh yes and they gave us a welcome plate of Baklava as well. Let's talk about the problems we faced during our stay of 3 nights: 1. There was quite a gap between the glass door and the glass panel in our shower, and that meant we had to mop up the floor every time after we had a shower. There is nothing unusual about the design, and this could be avoided if they could do the measurements better. 2. Tiny, flimsy legs on the bedside table. When you tried to open the drawer of your bedside table with one hand, you were actually dragging the entire table towards you and then you could feel the legs were going to break in any other minute. The solution was to hold the table with the other hand but I would rather leave the whole thing alone. 3. Hanging bedside lamps were hung so low that many times I hit my head when I leaned over to pick up my watch or glasses up from the table. 4. Square corners of the beds. It wasn't just me but also my wife who got our shins hit when walking around the beds. Somehow the mattress did not protect us. 5. Small wardrobe with just a few hangers and then half of it was occupied by the ironboard and the iron. There was no fix for that, we had to leave our clothes in the suit cases. 6. The loud "ding"" noise from the elevator whenever it arrived. I have requested for a quiet room as an ALL member and they had put me in a room right next to the elevator. The "lift arrival" chime could make me jump even when I was inside the room. I hope they could tune down the volume as you don't need half of the hallway to hear about it. To do them justice they had an extra door that you can shut at night. I think these drawbacks are relatively minor and if you like the location and the service, Levni Istanbul Hotel Handwritten Collection is a good choice to consider.

Clean hotel. Good central location. The manager semih was helpful and sorted issues we had straight away. The young 19 year old guy was nice aswell and helped us with luggage to the metro station. Good customer service. Just need to sort the noise from ventilation in the bathrooms.

This is a beautiful property in a great location in Old Istanbul. The entire front desk staff was so great & helpful! They were able to upgrade my room because of my Accor status. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Clean room and updated room with plenty of storage for two travelers. The good side and bad side are the neighborhood. You are well connected to the main attractions of Sultanahmet Square but are also in the thick of all the tourist traps. The facility is well situated for travelers wanting to explore the Golden Horn of Istanbul.

The hotel has excellent support for their guests. We used the restaurant, the café and the fitness room during our time there. Breakfast was varied and the staff helpful. The reception staff were very helpful especially Efe who was on reception when we arrived, during our stay to answer any questions, and then when we left.

Very helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Hotel is modern and well located. Hotel can't be faulted. Only drawback is that it is very close to a mosque and you can hear slightly the morning prayers.
