Many beaches are patrolled; however, the water has been known to contain rips and the occasional shark. One of the best beaches in New South Wales is Hyams Beach in Jervis Bay. This beach offers incredibly white sand that squeaks as you walk and clear turquoise waters—often topping the charts for the world's best beaches.
