Everything was ok - but shower was so bad. No pressure at all

Booking that was originally requested and paid for wasn’t provided on checking in. Booked a superior king room with king bed and was told that wasn’t the booking they had and was given a room with 3 single beds. Disappointing start to the trip and told the best they can do was get house keeping to put the 2 single beds together. They put in the required and this also didn’t happen.

This review relates to my stay at the IBIS Styles Wentworth Avenue Sydney Tues 10th Feb to Sat 14th Feb 2026. The booking was made by a booking company through my employer for a business trip. At the time of making the booking it was stipulated that breakfast and carparking was to be included - that is paid for by my employer - charged back to my company. I don't think it could have been made any clearer. Everyday I went to have breakfast and the staff said "sorry you are not on the list". So I would go to reception and advise that my booking was to include breakfast and carparking. They would "apparently" make a note and say it should be alright tomorrow. The next day the same thing again. "Sorry you are not on our breakfast list". So I would go through the same steps AGAIN. I stayed there for four days and it happened every day! Upon checkout they asked how I would be paying for the carparking - cash or credit card. I advised for about the 6th time that breakfast and carparking was included in the booking and charged back to my employer. So they let me go only for me to find out my account had been debited a couple of days later for the carparking. DO NOT LET THEM SWIPE YOUR CARD ON CHECK IN! Through the stay I had also asked to have the soap dispenser replenished as I had run out. The soap didn't get replenished until I asked a second time. My stay had to be extended and the booking company sent through an email advising I was staying another night. The email was not actioned. I missed a number of calls on my mobile from IBIS Styles asking why my belongings were still in my room. I called back and explained how the booking company had extended my stay and advised IBIS Styles to check their emails. Now that I have been personally charged for the carparking I attempt to ring IBIS Styles and I'm getting the run around or the phone rings out. NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE STAYING AT IBIS STYLES WENTWORTH AVENUE SYDNEY!!!!
