Hotel is fine. Serves a purpose. Could not call the hotel directly! Quite frustrating. It's a bit tired looking. Bathroom had no extraction fan. Mirror would steam up for ages. Shower was atrocious! Dribbled like a bad tap. Pillows are large and hard. Quite uncomfortable. Parking was tricky below. Signage for TSBH clients needs to be more obvious.

When we checked in, they charged my card $40 usd more. I thought it was a deposit but later, realized they charged (not authorized) my stay 4 days early. When I checked out, I pointed this out asking why the charge was so much higher. The gal couldn’t explain so she sent to the duty manager. I’ve received a reply saying my bank charged a foreign transaction fee which was not true. I’ve asked 3 times for the credit card receipt because I was only given the hotel receipt, which reflects the correct amount. I’m suspecting they ran the charge using DCC which is a much higher conversion rate to usd. If they did this, they should have asked my permission which they did not. And you have to wonder why they aren’t providing the credit card receipt after 3 requests. Breakfast was just 2 out of 10. All baked goods were extremely dry over baked.

Limited dinner menu in restaurant and pricey. The breakfast served is common in hotels where it is included in the room rate. Since it was not included, there should have been a menu.

The hotel is old, not well kept and messy. You’ll be greeted with many bags being stored in the centre of the lobby, poorly cleaned surfaces and a general feel of this hotel has given up. The view of the harbour is stunning. Thats where the good ends. Overpriced and under delivered.

The situation you noticed in the lobby occurred during a peak arrival period, when a higher volume of guests were arriving at the same time. Due to limited luggage storage space and increased demand, luggage may occasionally be placed in the lobby during these peak periods. Please be assured that we are reviewing this matter and exploring improvements. We also acknowledge that the hotel is an older property. As part of our transition to Accor management, we are currently reviewing our operations and facilities to better align with brand standards, including the development of a renovation plan. We are actively exploring solutions to enhance the overall guest experience. Thank you as well for mentioning the harbour view, which remains one of the highlights of our location.
