Rooms were old and poorly maintained Bathrooms were dirty and hot/cold taps were reversed. Showers were grimy and bath taps didn't work. Carpets were stained. No smart TV. Car park not accessible for young families or persons with disabilities as stair access required to elevators, this needs to be advised to guests in advance. Booked a double bed but instead received two single beds pushed together. 100% would not recommend and would appreciate a refund for this stay.

I recently stayed at the Sydney Boulevard and was pleased to see it part of the Accor Group - whilst its been some years since I have stayed there it was lovely to be met with recognition and that my loyalty mattered. There appears to be a number of training issues still to be resolved and the property really could do with a modern refurb.

The view was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the centre; a short walk to the art gallery, and an easy stroll through the botanical gardens to the opera house and ferries. The room was spacious but needed a simple repaint to just lift it up a standard. The aircon and fridge were very noisy, and the old fashioned shower over bath not the best for older visitors. So, a good hotel which could easily become an excellent choice stay for Sydney with a bit of investment.

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times for work due to its location near the harbour and easy access to tunnels and motorways. Staff are always friendly and helpful, however the rooms are a bit dated. Was stunned upon my last visit when ordering a drink and snacks from the cafe/bar located within the hotel on the ground floor called "The Vard" to be told that I couldn't charge back to my room and had to pay on the spot. Seemed ridiculous.
