Opened on 9 October 2025 as Australia's first 25hours Hotel, The Olympia is a boutique lifestyle hotel set within the restored West Olympia Theatre in Paddington. The 109-room property celebrates a Dreamers and Renegades design concept and features a curated collection of dining and social spaces, including one-hat The Palomar, The Mulwray cocktail and wine bar, Jacob the Angel café, and Monica Rooftop Bar with sweeping views across Paddington and Sydney's skyline.

Wonderful experience, however the incredibly conscientious staff had not mentioned that they had kindly upgraded the room I had booked for my wife's birthday prior to our arrival. As a result, we ended up with the circular bed that I had taken care to avoid booking. Aside from this glitch (which was a little disconcerting, a little less comfortable, but certainly not world-ending) we had a lovely stay. The quality of service and facilities were excellent.

Condescending, unhelpful. Room clean standards are very good as the facilities however, some rooms are extremely overpriced. The property has safety issues and the staff are extremely biased.. the charging issues and sketch practices of using credit/debit cards as well as online bookings at the same time makes reconciling accounts extremely difficult. I was double charged multiple times. Beat

Location and room was great. Unfortunately i was accidentally charged nearly $500 and had over $300 in pending charges added to my account. After multiple phone calls to follow up i have been reassured i will recieve the money back. Having these charges deducted and having to wait for nearly $1,000 to be returned to my account after entrusting the hotel with my bank card details is very disapointing.

Nice location and venue but a number of areas need improvement. There was obvious mould on the ceiling where the a/c vented from, I didn't make coffees because the equipment was covered in dust etc. Breakfast seemed very poor value and you are unexpectedly limited with what you can have, one coffee included is really not good enough.
