The staff were extremely friendly. The way you are checking in for breakfeast is not the smartest. Why is it the same person guiding you to the table and take order for coffee or tea? If there are 4 people shown to the table it takes time to recieve orders and people at the waiting line have to wait longer. The toilets at by the reception were worn out and a little dirty.

My partner booked this hotel for my parents and I. It was their first time in Sydney and we wanted to treat them to the best experience possible. We were thoroughly disappointed. Disappointment started small, with the kettle in the room not working and needing to be replaced. But it escalated quickly: at check-in, the concierge said breakfast was included in our reservation. I was surprised, because my partner didn't tell me about this. I thought it was a sweet surprise he had prepared for us, but I still double-checked with the concierge if she was sure, to which she said yes. Lo and behold, on the next day, I go downstairs for breakfast with my family and the hostess said breakfast was not included in our booking. The issue is not money, but the misinformation provided by the concierge and the ensuing awkwardness at the breakfast table. The biggest disappointment was finding out at the end of the day that the pool was closed for maintenance, even though the concierge had reassured us all facilities were open until 11:00PM every day without any mention of a closed swimming pool, in another display of misinformation provided at the front desk. Finally, your toilets in the ground floor are an absolute disgrace, they were repulsive and were dirtier than the dirtiest public toilet at a Sydney train station. Every single day at this hotel was so full of disappointment that we're just happy to be back home and away from this place.
