Room and hallway was very dated. TV was very old and basic. No streaming available. Couch was old and dated. Have stayed in rooms a lot cheaper, and in SE Asia with better TVs. No charging points by the bed.

Please accept our apologies that the condition of the room, furniture, and television appeared dated and impacted your overall experience. We appreciate your comments regarding the television and the lack of streaming capability. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our facilities, we are currently working on upgrading our in-room entertainment system to include Chromecast streaming TVs, which we are confident will provide a more modern and convenient viewing experience for our guests. Your feedback regarding the charging points near the bed and the overall room presentation has also been noted and shared with our management team as we continue reviewing opportunities to improve our guest rooms. The room is described as having a mini bar.m but it contains an empty fridge. And limited room service options. No water provided but a dirty jug to fill from the bathroom sink, no coffee machine. Lifts were slow. Confusion about whether to pay on arrival. Shower is in a spa bath with a shower curtain. Hotel came across tired and cheap unfortunately. Won’t stay again until it is updated.

We sincerely regret to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, and please accept our apologies for the inconveniences you experienced. Regarding the coffee machine, we apologise for any confusion caused. The room type selected does not include a coffee machine; however, tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room. In regard to the mini-bar, we are currently in the process of transitioning our rooms to a mini-bar-on-request model. This approach provides guests with additional fridge space while still allowing mini-bar items to be delivered upon request. We are also very sorry to hear that the water jug was not presented in a clean condition. This is certainly not the standard we aim to maintain, and your feedback has been shared with our Housekeeping team for immediate review. As part of our sustainability program to reduce single-use items, bottled water is not placed in rooms. Instead, guests are welcome to refill the water jug at our water stations located at Bistro 36 and in the lobby on the ground floor. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the lift wait times and any confusion regarding the payment process at check-in. Your comments have been noted and shared with the relevant teams as we continue to improve communication and the overall guest experience. Thank you again for sharing your honest feedback. While we are sorry that this stay did not fully meet your expectations, we do hope you might consider returning in the future so we can provide you with a more positive experience.
