Bit upsetting for a 5-star hotel. I'd say it's the oddest 5 star hotel we've been. Went to celebrate my husband's birthday and our anniversary. When we arrived the hotel lobby doesn't seem welcoming and smells cigarette not the usual freshing scent of a 5-star hotel. The staff seems trying their best to give a good service which I commend but totally not worth it staying there. Tho We really appreciate for the complimentary anniversary card and sweets 💙 We were surprised for the first time staying in a 5-star hotel that there's no complimentary bottle of water and what surprised us when they delivered the glass bottle which was just refilled somewhere, it smells terrible!!! we didn't drink it at all. I went right away to the reception and they've explained that we can refill in the refilling spot or drink the water from the washroom lol, then I handed the glass bottle and let the receptionist smell it. He offered it to be replaced but how can I trust again? We have a kid, I can't just let my kid drink water that was taken from somewhere mysterious. At night, you can hear the flushing of toilet from the other room. Breakfast buffet - Food was cold. Swimming pool wasn't even regulated too. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, pullman hydepark is not worth it. lot of things to improve. Don't say sorry or apologise without taking any action or anything. Coz if you ask me, we regret of booking this place and if only we can ask for refund
