Pullman rooms were very outdated even after getting a room upgrade Ordered 2 bottles of water with room service which never arrived Ordered cocktails on arrival while waiting for the room to be ready and was poorly made Pool facilities and gym has the potential to be the highlight due to updated furniture however the it had not been cleaned, towels, rubbish, old food, employed bottles from previous evening (went at approx 10am What was lovely were all the staff from check in, to ordering cocktails and breakfast in the morning. Buffet selection was also good. I’m not normally one to provide negative feedback but I will not be returning

Great location close to Museum station, and lovely view over Hyde Park from our room. We found every staff member very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We appreciated the Ice cold water station in reception each time we came back from a walk. Only negative was that our room for three people only had two sets of cutlery, glasses, mugs, coffee pods etc.

I miss the lunches in the restaurant; the bar isn't comfortable for someone like myself. This wasn't a problem for me this time, but has been previously, and will likely be so again: I can no longer recommend that friends and others meet me there for lunch, which is a damned shame. But what was far worse this time, far worse, is the new automated internal phone service! Trying to get room service was a nightmare, and I ended up having to go down to Reception and have a staffer (who had problems with English) assist me... Scrap it, PLEASE!!! Oh, and I also miss your banana splits... Breakfast was a joy though: perfect crispy bacon, perfect eggs cooked easy over, and wonderful potato gems!!! I just wish the chef would get over his/her pineapple vendetta, as pineapple is almost never there...! Darn.

The shower holder was broken, therefore it was expelling water at such a low height it would only be usable for children. There was no children that stayed at the room. One had to hold the shower head constantly in order to have a decent shower.

It was great overall, might just want to check the air con in the bedroom. It didn’t cool very well and the room was too warm

Everything about the day was excellent. This included the cleanliness the comfort of the bed the temperature of the shower and spaces in the bathroom and room. There was one major issue though. The air-conditioning in the room was too hot. It made sleeping uncomfortable and during the day unbearable. The Control Panel in the room didn’t seem to do anything to drop the temperature down.

Check in was ok as I had a new employee but I was patient, the room on the 21st had a great view and was clean, only disappointed was when cleaned the next day the bath Matt and coffee pods were not replace, breakfast poached eggs were cooked to perfection unfortunately everything on the breakfast bar was Luke warm.

The room was hot, 24.5'. The AC did nothing to cool the room, even though on 17'. The TV was not working. These were not able to be fixed and we eventually asked to be relocated - which did happen. We had dinner at Bar 36. The steak was nice, but the butter chcken was more like a stew with strings of chicken meat, rather than pieces of chicken, and the rice was not fluffy, but clumped together. This meal was not eaten but returned to the kitchen. We had also ordered a Kaffir Lime Panna Cotta, which was very stodgy. No panna cotta wobble to be found. Neither of us finished our desert. There was NO offer to not charge us for the portions of the meal that were not eaten - ie butter chicken and 2 deserts We paid a lot of money for a very poor experience, and it is very unlikely that we would return to Sydney Pullman.

The hotel is very dated Having step in showers (large triangular bath tub) is not ideal and dangerous Mould around shower rail Power points not in convenient locations Having no mini bar in the room or bottled water is extremely inconvenient and frustrating The dining experience in the restaurant was extremely disappointing Food luke warm Waiting so long to get a drink Breakfast was below average Fresh mango sour Danishes very dry Buffet food cold On an upside room service menu was way more extensive than your restaurant menu

The stay was nice staff were friendly and helpful but very green they all needed help with the check in and out process, the facilities are nice but not overly clean. The room was fine except for the fact that one of the beds had ripped sheets that we had to have replaced which doesn't fill you with confidence in the housekeeping. It felt much more like a novotel than a pullman.
