The location of the hotel was very good. Close to the train station, Kings Cross, short walk to Woolloomooloo, nice view of the harbour through a small window. The staff were nice and provided a complementary bottle of water on arrival, free apples and lollies throughout our stay, which were grateful received. The room was very small for two people with luggage. There was no wardrobe just a hanger on the wall. The bathroom was unacceptable and unsafe. The shower didn’t have a door so water flooded the bathroom when we had a shower. Quite a bit of mould in the bathroom and no exhaust fan to clear the steam. We asked if all the rooms had showers like this and were told yes!

Gentleman on the desk at check in was friendly, helpful and proactively supportive. Female working the desk was not any of these things. I thought I had booked breakfast with my reservation, but nothing was said or mentioned about it (where to go, what time etc). As I had had a long travel day I just wanted to get some rest so didn’t push the matter but then found upon receiving my final invoice that I had in fact paid for it. I appreciate that there is responsibility on me to remember but in this case I actually missed a breakfast I’d paid for because I expected those details to be confirmed to me upon check in.
