We were well received. We had had difficulties with the reservations, as we got confirmation for a type of accommodation, that we had not discussed during the reservation by phone.We were disappointed by the way you are celebrating the change of the year, but that may Netherlands tradition. We have spent the last 12 years in a hotel in the Netherlands and were surprised by the absence of any celebration. It was very nice to find some old oilballs on the counter the next day! There was a chair blocking the entrance to the bar. Instead a guy was putting firworks on fire right in front of the hotel door. Not reallyan incentive to leave the hotel. We were told that Nijmegen would be firework free, but this was apparently misinformation, as there was also an accident. The pressure of the shower a the fourth floor is low. As the room is not cleaned, the guest has to go down to get new coffee supply. The coffee machine downstairs is operational limited hours. Early in the evening it is already put out of order. We appreciated the fact that we could leave our own coolboxin the kitchen. This way we had some cold bubbles on New Years Eve.

However, we are sorry that you were disappointed about our New Year’s Eve celebrations at the hotel. The bar was open until 22:00 as you should have been informed via email and flyers in the hotel. We are sorry If this wasn’t the case. We are sorry about the miscommunication regarding the fireworks in the city. We understand that can be an unpleasant surprise. Bed felt 30 years old. Window faced a train station. No wash cloths. Would prefer coffee maker in room..

While we provide various pillow options and temperature controls in all rooms, we regret these aspects didn’t contribute to your comfort during this business trip. We had a very nice stay. Excellent food in the restaurant and helpful friendly staff throughout. The only problem was that there was no heating in the room….it was very, very cold.
