Look, the hotel is well placed, neat and tidy, good food and (could be, if some of the finer details were addressed) good value for money. However, if the door of the cupboard hiding the fridge would have stayed closed (faulty hinge) my son wouldn't have hurt himself on it. If the shower head/hose didn't leak, showers would have been a bit more enjoyable. The lovely view of the cement wall from the window (Room 1614) was a little less than breathtaking and the brownish mark on the bedsheet?? .... Hmmmm, well I am hoping that was some form of chocolate smeared on the sheet - please god! So, as I have said, some things need to be addressed. We were only there for 2 nights so I really didn't want to spend my time complaining, however, one shouldn't really have to complain given all of the competition.

The fire alarm is an issue, I was on 18th floor when went off, told to take stares down, luckily a few minutes later announced false alarm, also had very small room next to elevator. Should have asked to move as had paid for larger room

This hotel is right in the heart of Sydney, with easy access to both trains and trams. The room was comfortable, and the bed was super comfy! After a long and delayed flight from Thailand, this was the perfect place to relax and get some much-needed rest. The staff were also very friendly, especially Sol, who helped me with my check-in and made me feel very welcome. And the beer at Birdy was cold and great! 🍺 100/100 — definitely a great stay!

A great stay here to end our holiday. The reception staff were friendly and offered help with bags. They engaged in conversations as to where we had visited in Australia and where we returning to. A gift of chocolates was given as we left which was a nice gesture.
