Our experience was not as we expected from ibis. Whilst staff were approachable and friendly, there were multiple issues during our stay. Including being issues three different rooms before we could enter a room after check-in and also taking over 45 mins to receive hot chips and bread from the bar. The room was clean and very small.

We were greeted warmly and given an upgrade which was welcome. The rooms were serviced daily and the bed and pillow choices were comfortable. One minor thing was that in the bathroom when the towels were hung on the rack they actually touched the floor which was unhygienic I thought. There is room to move the rungs slightly higher to avoid this. Apart from that the room was well equipped with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities including milk, hair dryer (essential!) and bathroom toiletries. The cafe in the foyer was very handy for breakfast. Thanks for a great stay - we will be back!

Felt like bare minimum effort was made to make us feel welcome, rather we should be thankful for getting a room. Other than a great location, there was nothing positive about this place. Couldn't even provide a toilet brush? Shower leaked and flooded the floor, and given the space is really small I can't understand why you would waste space with useless wooden boxes to hold up a glass shelf? Won't return

The staff were friendly but 2 problems- no milk in the room so had to go down at 1100pm to get some; we couldn’t get the TV to work at all which was frustrating as we had been out for the night in the city and just wanted to chill out for a bit before going to sleep.

it was a good short stay, positive. would have been excellent if the kettle in the room worked. no coffee for me in the morning.
