I always stay at The Ibis at Barangaroo when I'm in Sydney. It is ideally located to public transport hubs, and restaurants, and situated in a lovely area of Sydney for those morning and evening walks.

Room and king bed was good. Bathroom dated and difficult to retain water from shower.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We opted to include the 'grab and go' breakfast which was great.
