Exceptionally supportive through difficult times

Spent 15 weeks at the hotel during the NSW lockdown. The staff were incredibly supportive, consistently checking in to see how I was doing, stopping for a chat in reception (they were the only people I spoke face to face with in all that time) and just letting me get on and manage my own safe space. I made it clear early on I would wash my own bedding and towels, in order to reduce the risk of cross-infection. I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past and this was just one of those difficult times where good hospitality is important.

Overall, the staff were very helpful and friendly. But the unit itself especially the appliance needs upgrading. 1) Washing machine in Penthouse had foul smell coming out. 2) Washing machine in 1BR apartment didn’t allow for other option of washing 3) Dishwasher in both Penthouse and 1BR unit not working well, especially the 1BR unit. Still stained after 2x 2.30 hours wash. 4) Due to Covid situations, we do not wish to have any outsiders coming into our unit. It would be great if the unit is properly stocked with cleaning materials throughout the residents stay. Or even change of towels/sheets without the need to keep asking. Especially toilet cleaning apparatus. 5) Regardless of whether a 1BR or studio, if there are 2 pax in the room, would be great to highlight that the bed is Double Size, because it’s really too small even for Asian standard.
