I am a repeat returning customer from the UK.The title in effect says it all; the only reason you didn’t score 10 was the weeks it took out to sort the confusion over my booking (of which you will have a record of dialogue) and the fact that on arrival in Sydney at 23:30, when ‘phoning you, I was on hold, for 75 minutes, as was a friend of mine and my taxi driver also for 30 minutes. Then when I did get to you my check-in took 30 minutes while the staff member tried to log into your system. Everything else is, as alwats good and your staff, particularly those servicing the rooms are a delight.

Having stayed a few times in a studio room with balcony I decided to upgrade and book the apartment with a separate bedroom. I did not expect the "upgrade" to provide ONLY a brick wall for a view. Disappointing. I also paid extra for late checkout on the Sunday which was clearly not noted as my room key 'expired' Sunday morning. Again, disappointing.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Not all the room types and rooms of one-bedroom apartments come with balcony for their design from long ago and so, it's left subject to availability albeit we would love to give all our guests rooms with balcony. No reservation note was found for balcony requested previously other than the note saying it was your birthday weekend though, if you clarified it with us, it must have been no availability unfortunately. Further with key expired before your 4pm late check-out, I would love to extend my deepest apologies once again on my team member's behalf. Regarding the complimentary drink voucher provided for our Explorer members, it's automatically updated on your Accor app on mobile. At Mantra, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. We had a good stay and are generally pretty satisfied. There were a couple of issues that should have been anticipated before they became a little problem. A booking for a family of three is obviously going to use the foldout couch - but it wasn't made up at all and there were limited staff to help with our late arrival. Even finding linen within the hotel appeared to be a challenge. Obviously a family of three needs three towels, but both days of our stay we were only left two and had to request an extra one. The bar/restaurant hours are a little limited. As a positive the location is great and the staff friendly. Particularly Andrea who did everything she could to make sure our daughter had somewhere to sleep. The room is a good size and comes with many extra amenities - like a small apartment.

we were disappointed with our stay, given it costs over $500 each night. We were expecting a fine setting but the room was dirty, mostly the shower. The kick board is falling apart, the toilet seat glided off, the microwave and fridge needed wiping. The carpet needed vacuuming properly. Neither of the phone charging ports didn't work. We reported it to the reception staff throughout our stay and during check out and was met with ambivalence. I would be happy to receive a partial refund if management could consider. Thanks Di 04…

A wellness suite was booked for one night. This includes a peleton bike, however despite all efforts, including from housekeeping, the bike would not connect to the internet. Unfortunately this resulted in a lot of wasted of time and lack of exercise which was disappointing. The manager kindly refunded the difference of the room, however I probably won't bother with such a room next time.
