Great location and amenities

Really good location, not far from Wynyard station for the airport train (4 mins) sand bridge street light rail was right outside. The room we were in gad a queen and a fold out sofa and three of us stayed there fairly comfortably. It had a kitchenette too and a washer/dryer so that was great. Woolworths is also right across the street. The only downside was looking out onto a brick wall and there was a night club downstairs on the Tuesday night which was SO loud until 3am. Otherwise though it was great and the staff were very friendly. The pool was also good enough for the kids and the spa was great when it was cold.

Very loud train right y der my room. ANSI loud contraction happening right across demolishing another hotel.

This accomodation is priced just for location. I found the rooms to be run down and in need of a refresh. Our first room had a broken bed and then after being moved due to that issue the sofa bed in the new room was full of sand and extremely uncomfortable (more uncomfortable than most sofas) The bathrooms were small and uncomfortable. During our stay there was an active construction site directly across from our room with an excavator jack hammering from 7am in the morning. The windows must not have any noise suppression as it was very disruptive. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, but maybe this should be factored in when pricing the accommodation as it really left us unsatisfied with our stay. This is not a cheap accommodation option, and I wouldn’t stay at the mantra again as I feel there is better quality for the $$ we paid.
