We had gathered for a wedding, and while this was a joyous occasion, the lead up had been fraught during COVID in terms of planning. The cleanliness and attention to providing a safe but welcoming environment was all don to the wonderful staff and manager at the Mantra. We had a very happy and relaxing time at the Mantra and would stay again. Others who were staying at the Mantra for the wedding said so too.

Nice large room with kitchen and lounge area. Very good location. Could not find the hotel at first as there was a one-way street to it. No large signage of the hotel, only a small street size sign.

I would say its a bit pricey for what it is. The rooms are decent, but not $200 worth. It seems run down and the service wasnt the best. There is absolutley no vibe there. Its just a place to stay. Nothing nice. Which is what i hoped for.

I spent some time there recently for work and my experience could not have been better. I had a one bedroom apartment which exceeded my expectation. My room was very comfortable, quiet, had everything I needed (including full kitchen, washing machine and dryer) and had plenty of natural light plus two small balconies which were perfect for fresh air. Most impressive was my experience with the staff. They were all friendly, personable and always responded quickly and efficiently to every request. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Check in process was very positive and staff despite reduced house keeping due to Covid were accommodating, helpful and very friendly. Great location- a short walking distance to The Rocks, Barangaroo and the Opera House. The Light Rail is at your front door. We will definitely return.

As part part of our Covid Safe program, ALLSafe our priority has been to reduce touch points in the room which unfortunately means we had to remove all minibars (though all these items should still have been available through reception so I extend my sincerest apologies if this was not communicated on check in). Housekeeping has also been provided upon request as we understand some guests have been very conscious about having additional people in their room. We do understand this is not the usual experience we like to deliver but as we work through these challenging times, health and safety remains our highest priority. Stayed for four nights. It was a comfortable stay and I was not concerned about cleanliness. Had everything I needed. Room service was out of action as the restaurant was closed. But there was plenty of food around the area.

Good evening mantra, Being a frequent guest at a mix of motels recently in Sydney CBD, I made a decision to stay at the Mantra following your impressive pictures and reviews on your website, I decided to spend a little extra than usual to treat my partner to a little more luxury.. Upon arrival I was greeted and attended to by your lovely staff. Upon entering my suite I was instantly disappointed with the size of the room, comparing it with other motels I have recently been a guest with, for much less expense their apartments offer much more in size and luxury compared to the Mantra.. Upon a request to reception for another room your kind staff were only too happy to help, showing me around several apartments in order to satisfy my request, only to choose my original room. Unfortunately I found a few things which I think for the cost of your rooms unacceptable, the bathroom was tiny, there was no coffee machine provided, with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar etc. placed carelessly in their display cases, I also found the few drinking glasses provided were not cleaned. Adding to my grievances I awoke the next morning to find there was also no milk provided for my instant coffee, thankfully staff again were quite happy to provide me with some milk.. It is quite upsetting for me to review your establishment in this way Mantra, hoping my honesty will assist you in some small improvements, I have since chosen another motel several times for my stays, as mentioned at a much better rate. The possibility of a small refund from the Mantra I consider should be entertained, and would be much appreciated.. Kind regards Richard H.

Stayed Saturday night in 2 rooms with friends. Arrive and was unable to use ACCOR gift cards to pay for the rooms. ACCOR cards weren't on the system. Apart from that, rooms were great as was the location.

Good location. Clean and tidy. However, there is no way to run the airconditioner. Quilts are too thin and only one blanket for two bedrooms. I had a sleepless night.
