Staff were extremely friendly and helpful however room was dated and worn, had an unpleasant smell - like wet carpet or musk. Construction noise across the road was loud - understated this is not in your control but added to the overall experience.

The unreliability of the access card was very frustrating. I felt I was treated as though it was my strategy that was at fault, however, I witnessed SO many people experiencing the same problem with a lot of frustration being expressed. Being trapped in a lift going up and down because you can't activate your floor is time wasting and very frustrating. The TV was also unreliable but I didn't ask for help with this.

Although there was a slight housekeeping hiccup in the kitchen when I arrived, I cannot fault my stay. Room clean and comfortable, service friending and helpful. I used the gym and the pool. All in a great location for the purpose of my trip. I was there for the Hoka Runaway Sydney Half Marathon and the hotel gave my a nice sugar free Gatorade cool in the fridge to help with the day - great little touch
