The room was decently sized and quite comfortable. The kitchen amenities were fine, though our fridge only had one shelf and no lid to the crisper (not relevant to our stay specifically as it was one night and we didn't need the fridge space, but it looked like it should have had/was missing another shelf). There was central/building wide temperature control (or at least there was no remote or visible panel/unit in the room), so at points it was very cold in the afternoon then very warm in the morning. Parking was $73 per night extra, and the spots were spread throughout the garage and hard to find. The bathroom was nice, with a washing machine and dryer tucked behind the door. The shower was large and clean/free of mould/scum. The restaurant smelled lovely, but we did not dine in. There was no room service options/menu's either. The staff were lovely on check in/out.

Our stay started superbly as our room was ready early after 15 and 5 hour flights. Great location, great breakfasts, close to the tram and the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Our second time staying there and we will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mantra 2 Bond Street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And being so close to Circular Key and Wynyard station, plus all the sites (such as Botanic Gardens & Museum of Sydney) created an easy sense of being able to go wherever we wanted.

I called at 8:00 am to check whether there were any rooms available and if one could be ready for an early check-in. Mike answered the phone and was incredibly helpful. He confirmed there were rooms available and said he would do his best to have housekeeping prepare one as soon as possible once I made the booking. He also asked me to call him back straight away after booking, which was greatly appreciated. When we arrived at the hotel, the lady who checked us in provided amazing customer service. She was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond, even giving us a slightly larger room, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel amenities were great, and the sofa bed was already fully set up for us. Overall, the service from start to finish was fantastic, and both Mike and the lovely lady at reception made our stay a really positive experience. Thank you!

The hotel was very well located and I’d absolutely stay again. The room has all the things we needed for a great long weekend stay. There was a lovely lady working at reception on the Friday when we checked in. She gave us a recommendation of a place we could get a pedicure done. The place was absolutely heaving so clearly very popular and well priced. Unfortunately she was there when we returned so we were unable to thank her for the recommendation. 🙏 Now the extra feedback bit. Nothing was a deal breaker and as I said, I’d certainly stay with you again. But this would change the stay from good to great. Whilst overall the apartment was clean, there were areas that could have stood a good old fashioned scrub. In particular the shower door where it meet the floor. It was pretty gross. Ok this one is just experience. A person knocked on the door, it was so soft I didn’t hear it sitting in the lounge area. My friend opened the door with a bath towel wrapped around her (which she shouldn’t have done 🤦🏼‍♀️) the person was there to check if we needed fresh towels and to empty the rubbish bins. A more experienced person would have offered the towels and then offered to return in 20-30 minutes to empty the bins and collect any dirt towels. In stead he came into the room even though I said no everything was fine. He reasoned that he’d only be a few minutes. Whilst not untrue, my friend is still naked with a small towel wrapped around her. I felt it was highly inappropriate for them to have entered the room while she was in a state of undress. She couldn’t hide in the bathroom because he went straight in there and she had no choice but to stand in the room while he went to the various bin locations. Although she wasn’t hugely concerned I just think he should have waited and come back. Again I think this just highlighted a lack of training and overall experience on how to deal appropriately with the situation. That’s it 😁
