Spent 15 weeks at the hotel during the NSW lockdown. The staff were incredibly supportive, consistently checking in to see how I was doing, stopping for a chat in reception (they were the only people I spoke face to face with in all that time) and just letting me get on and manage my own safe space. I made it clear early on I would wash my own bedding and towels, in order to reduce the risk of cross-infection. I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past and this was just one of those difficult times where good hospitality is important.

Overall, the staff were very helpful and friendly. But the unit itself especially the appliance needs upgrading. 1) Washing machine in Penthouse had foul smell coming out. 2) Washing machine in 1BR apartment didn’t allow for other option of washing 3) Dishwasher in both Penthouse and 1BR unit not working well, especially the 1BR unit. Still stained after 2x 2.30 hours wash. 4) Due to Covid situations, we do not wish to have any outsiders coming into our unit. It would be great if the unit is properly stocked with cleaning materials throughout the residents stay. Or even change of towels/sheets without the need to keep asking. Especially toilet cleaning apparatus. 5) Regardless of whether a 1BR or studio, if there are 2 pax in the room, would be great to highlight that the bed is Double Size, because it’s really too small even for Asian standard.

I have stayed twice at the mantra and have been in two 2 bedroom, a studio and a 1 bedroom apartment. What makes the places is the great job on the living room furnishings. I think however with just a few more touches on the walls etc these places would be extremely welcoming. They are just a little sparse on other walls and in bedrooms which is kind of a little unwelcoming especially if you are staying a while.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2-night stay at The Mantra (2 Bond Street). We were especially well-looked after by your delightfully friendly staff member, Bianca, who went out of her way to ensure we were made to feel like VIP's in our own City. We could not have asked for any better service than was overseen by Bianca. Likewise, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast on both days, in your Ground Floor dining area. Stayed for work and found it a great location. The restaurant was closed on a Sunday night and Monday morning but there were other local alternatives

Lovely staff that where very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Spacious, modern & lovely room with all amenities required, great car parking facilities and access. Restaurant service quick with a good menu that was cooked perfectly & very enjoyable to eat. We will be returning to stay again and recommending to everyone as a go to for a city stay.

Check in went smoothly, room was lovely as always. Clean and roomy. Car park option is always handy to have when staying in the city. Will definitely come back again. The restaurant was open for the first time since covid, only had a coffee at breakfast time so didn't get to try the menu. Overall pleasant stay , great location and nice and friendly staff.

Very spacious and comfortable room. No drink voucher on check in, restaurant closed on Mondays so breakfast was brought to the room in a foam box, not edible.

We booked for 3 adults - only provided with 2 towels and the sofa not made up, and nothing to make it up with. When we called and asked we were told they were running short on blankets?? Restaurant wasn't open and no room service - which we were not informed about when booking. Noisy during the night.

Hi rebeccacusick, thank you for the review and I do apologise for the inconveniences experienced at Mantra 2 Bond Street. There is no doubt the school holiday rush provided some challenges but the good news is I have just received a large delivery of brand new bedding which includes blankets. I also extend my apologies in regards to the communication about the restaurant, I will ensure we complete a full audit of all our online channels so there is no confusion moving forward. ln saying this, I am pleased to advise our restaurant will be officially reopening on May 11th. Once again, thank you for the feedback and we do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again soon.

Was firstly disappointed that we weren’t made aware when booking that the restaurant is currently closed and the hotel doesn’t offer room service either. Secondly the room was booked for three adults but there were only two towels, etc. and the sofa bed was not made up. The phone in the room was not connected so I had to call reception by looking up the number on my mobile and call using my phone. When housekeeping brought the extra towel it was dirty and had marks all over it, we also didn’t receive a blanket for the sofa bed and when I called again using my mobile I was told they had run out of blankets. The location was very handy to the shops in the city but rooms were very noisy from outside road and laneway noises

We have stayed at the Mantra Bond Street on quite a few occasions recently. The location is very convenient close to Circular Quay and The Rocks with the light rail station just outside the apartments. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the staff very friendly. We would recommend these apartments and will be staying again in the near future.

Everything was very good on this stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too hard for them. The position of the hotel is very good being near to Circular Quay and the Opera House and also The Rocks area, but also within walking distance to Pitt Street Mall and the City Shopping centre. The only negative really is that the carpet needs a clean.

We were in the executive suite with kit12 th floor, kitchen & lounge area - very nice room with all the mod cons! Centrally located in mid city. Pillows, bed, line all very comfortable. Will have to come back in non Covid times to experience all the hotel offers, but yes, we did have an excellent stay. All staff we had contact with were extremely polite & friendly.
