Excellent experience. Front desk and concierge team were very helpful. I don’t remember the front desk lady’s name but she checked us in and out and was great at checking our room was ready on arrival and helping to organise luggage assistance for departure. Apartment was large and well appointed. Everything we needed and more when travelling with a 3 month old.

I paid a lot of money for a 2 bedroom apartment with harbour views. I was offered an upgrade to the penthouse, I asked the staff member if it also had the harbour views, she told me it did. But when I got to my upgraded room, all I could see is hideous buildings, no water in site. They even called this room the opera house view, but there was no opera house at all. I came to this hotel for the harbour views, for my 50th birthday and the staff at this place ruined my stay. When I asked for my original room back, they said it’s too late, they sold it already. They did nothing to help the situation. I’m disappointed that I never got what I paid for. Who wants to spend their birthday looking in office buildings????

I am very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly as it was such a special occasion. After reviewing your reservation, I can see that our team had extended an upgrade offer prior to your arrival for the Opera View Two Bedroom Penthouse, which was accepted ahead of check-in. Based on this, the team prepared your booking accordingly. I sincerely apologise if there was any miscommunication regarding the view from the apartment. Our Opera View rooms are positioned to offer views towards Sydney Harbour and the Opera House from the east-facing windows; however, I understand that this may not have aligned with your expectations, and I regret any disappointment this caused. As a boutique property operating at high occupancy, once upgrades are confirmed, the original room is typically released and reallocated. Unfortunately, this meant we were unable to revert your booking when you raised your concerns at the front desk. I appreciate how frustrating this must have been. I understand that the team worked with you during your stay to reach a resolution, and I hope this provided some reassurance. Nonetheless, I am truly sorry that your experience fell short on this occasion. We would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with the seamless and memorable stay we aim to deliver every time.
