I stayed during the heat wave and unfortunately the air con in my room was broken. I would have expected this to be checked prior to arrival in such hot weather. I requested to be moved rooms and the response was that other people have booked the hotel last minute and due to arrive that evening. Seemed like there was a priority over last minute bookings rather then those of us who had booked months previously. I was eventually given another room, but he air con was also broken here. When I flagged this again, I was informed that they'd had no maintenance teams available all week to fix any issues. With no capacity to move again, I was given a fan. As this had taken a while to resolve I didn't have much time to check out the new room until I arrived back int he evening after our evening out. When I arrived back I noticed that there was blood down one of the walls. All in all, a bit of a disgrace and would have expected more in terms of maintenance and cleanliness at a minimum.

Aircon in room 501 kept erroring out resulting in the room being like a sauna, hardly slept as we kept trying to restart the aircon. The breakfast was one of the worst things I've ever experienced in any hotel. Cheap aldi style cornflakes, milk they was not kept on a cool plate, room temperature oj and aj. Coffee that was disgusting. Alleged pork sausages that if lucky probably had 1% pork, were extending gristly and not nice. No bacon, no fried eggs. Overall I paid for breakfast, had 1/3rd of 2 sausages, probably 5th bowl cornflakes a slice of cheese. The toast was ok but no individual butter packets and the butter has been mauled and was very messy

Morning, we can only apologies for the experience you had on your stay, unfortunately the a/c is an issue that is been dealt with, as it has been so hot of late it keeps knocking it off randomly, as for the breakfast, we can only have a few items of hot items as we are a budget hotel and that is all we are allowed to put on, once again, please accept our apologies, regards
