Great location of hotel. Hard to get spots by the pool. Breakfast buffet was okay but not at a 5-star hotel standard. Biggest let down was the cleanliness of the room. Was quite grimy in some areas, including light switches and handles. The floors were quite dusty too.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in a penthouse spa suite, the quality of the resort and room is excellent. We were welcomed warmly at reception which kicked off an amazing experience. The family pool area was quite busy due to school holidays, however the addition of the rainforest serenity pool allowed us to have some quiet time to swim. La Mesa offer wonderful latin food and a great value lunch special. Wish we could have stayed longer, we'll be back again for sure!

Enjoyed my stay but it's a little outdated, there needs to be more bench space in the bathroom and the outdoor lights didn't work but its in a great location and the pool is fantastic

Accomodation was very comfortable and well appointed. The gardens and pools are gorgeous and the included breakfast is a must. Staff were super friendly and very helpful.

Overall our stay was lovely but there were a few items that need to be addressed. 1 The spa is too cold. A spa needs to be at least warm. There was barely any difference between the pool temp and the spa temp. 2 The room safes need to be larger so lap tops can fit in them. We had to leave our laptops out of the safe as they couldn’t fit 3 On tables or lounges by the pool, there needs to be QR codes so drinks and food can be ordered without needing to stand in line at the bar. Exceptional service and professionalism provided by all staff. The room was beautiful. Great spacious layout of rooms, luxurious bed, great shower, very good towels. The ceiling fans are fantastic, quiet and adequately placed above the bed and the living area. Excellent iron by the way, much better than mine at home. Brilliant coffee pods providing lovely espressos. Great variety of teas.The washing machine and drier were fast and efficient, better than mine at home. The bath on the balcony was great. We loved our room, exceeded our expectation. Housekeeping was exceptional, it was absolutley delightful to return in the afternoon to a clean and replenised room, attention to detail was spot on. The housekeeping staff were lovely, always said hello when passing by. 10 out of 10 for all staff: housekeeping, reception, La Mesa, Swim Up bar tenders and the maintenance guy. The only downside I can think of is that we felt the spa could've been hotter with more bubbles produced by stronger jets. We did stay during a relatively cold week though.

Due to recent heart surgery I cannot cope with stairs, so my single room was located at the very back so that I could use the lift. My family who were with me to celebrate my 80th birthday were at the front of the resort.

Rooms very clean, the kids loved the pool. Incredibly rude chef however who took great delight in telling me passive aggressively how to use the hollandaise bottle when the gas had run out. The next day the instructions were updated with exclamation marks etc. to prove a point. I explained I used it exactly as the sign said and his response was so rude it was very difficult for me to simply walk away before it escalated further. Clearly the misuse occurs often enough for him to be frustrated. My suggestion would be, take the hollandaise out of the gas pressured canister and choose another way for guests to use the sauce or remove it from the menu. On another occasion i asked one of the front desk team where I can order a coffee, he directed me to a cafe up the road instead of ordering within the hotel. This was less a frustration and more about a surprising response allowing additional revenue to walk off the premises. As a previous F&B manager within the Hyatt chain, these things I notice probably more than others. The chef shouldn't be working in this industry. I didn't get his name but he was possibly mid-thirties, unshaven Caucasian

The check in was friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was average at best, very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The split king configuration left a noticeable bump down the middle which added to it being uncomfortable. The food from the restaurant wasn't great. We had beef tacos and a pepperoni pizza but wouldn't recommend either option. We have stayed here in past years and have enjoyed the experience but it is not the same as it was, especially for the price. The beds are due for an upgrade

We stayed at Peppers for 3 nights after a 7 day family holiday elsewhere. The room we stayed in was quite small and we found it difficult to get used to after being in an apartment and the noise from the frontage was also difficult for us. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with the school holidays. The noise level at times became tiring and the hotel does not have a area where one can have a quiet drink. We stayed previously when the overall ambiance was more pleasant. If there is to be a next time we will be more careful with the dates.
