Mövenpick Hotel Deira Creek is a great choice if you’re looking for comfort and space in Dubai. What really stood out to me was how large the rooms are compared to many other hotels, along with the overall cleanliness and well-maintained environment. The staff were friendly and clearly well-trained, always ready to help and focused on delivering good service, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I also had a look at the executive lounge, which is currently under refurbishment. Even in its current state, it’s easy to see that once completed, it will be a fantastic place to relax. The views over Deira and the wider Dubai skyline are impressive, and I’m sure it will offer a great experience for guests once finished. Overall, a very pleasant stay with strong potential to be even better once the lounge is completed.

This hotel has such a high rating everywhere so we had a high expectation for it but I wouldn’t trust all those reviews as it’s not what it seemed at all! The rooms are old, the dinner and breakfast were very bad, during breakfast we couldn’t even find a free table as all the tables were dirty and no staff to clean them, buffet was almost empty and nobody was replenishing the food. The only person who made our stay tolerable was Sabr, a very lovely person who went out of his way to help us. Also the to reach the pool you have to take two flights of stairs and there is no lift! As we were with a small baby and a stroller it was super uncomfortable. At least the staff during check in could have warned us about this. Also the pool isn’t heated and was super cold
