I am extremely disappointed with my recent booking experience through MakeMyTrip. Despite making full payment and having a confirmed reservation, the hotel refused to provide the booked room, claiming that payment had not been received from MakeMyTrip. As a customer, I fulfilled my obligation by paying the booking amount on time. It is unacceptable for me to be caught between the hotel and the booking platform due to internal payment or communication issues. This situation caused significant inconvenience, embarrassment, stress, and mental distress, especially after arriving at the property expecting a hassle-free check-in. A confirmed booking should guarantee accommodation without forcing customers to resolve disputes between the hotel and the booking platform. Such incidents severely impact customer trust and confidence. I request a detailed explanation for this failure, appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and mental harassment caused, and assurance that similar incidents will not happen to other customers in the future.
