A very good hotel with clean rooms and great staffs like wasim and others except for the premium lounge which was a total disaster. Being a platinum member, I have had the privilege to access world class lounges with exceptional hospitality and facility and even have noticed the same treatment with 3/4 star hotels as well. But honestly the premium lounge in swissotel ghurair was the worst lounge ever. There was just one staff named pauline and truly she was running the lounge as though she was providing food from her expense.. the forks in the table we were sitting were stained and dirty and upon calling her her reply was “I’ve been busy”, then on one occasion there was no food on the evening cocktail (which is their only meal and there is no alchol), just a reminder that there is only two choices of food offered there and when that too is empty it is really something else, with the irony being that there were very few guests in the lounge, and we spoke with pauline and she said “we cannot cook it again for both of you, if you need ill get some springrolls” and proceeded to bring a plate of burnt airfried springrolls, since it was so dry my friend asked her for some ketchup to which she replied “ its in theground floor and I have to go all the way down to get it, adjust with the satay sauce offered in the buffet like lining, very pathetic truly.. also upon check in our room took a little time to be prepared so we thought lets spend some time in thelounge and while at the lounge i approached pauline and asked her if she could call up the reception and ask if our rooms were ready (a very common thing to ask in thelounge) to which she responded “sorry it is not my job you can go to ground floor and ask them, lounge does not interfere in such matter”. All in all a very poor experience. I suggest you close the lounge. We don’t need. However at the last day of my 8 day stay i informed mr pratheek, the manager and mr khalid Both of them were most polite and apologized to me for the inconvenience and truly they too were not aware of this lady and her crazy attitude that destroyed the repute of swissotel as a whole. Mr pratheek is a very decent man with whom upon interacting i realized that he genuinely wanted to provide the best hospitality experience for the guests onboard. And the breakfast spread in the main hall too was pretty great, we never ate in the lounge as it was truly patethic and the food selection and hospitality was below cattle-class standards.

We booked two massages (about October 10, Kevin C. and Leonor Cantero) and then changed the date and time of the massages. We accepted a new time, but then the spa cancelled at the last minute. We were not able to reschedule the massages during our stay. We were promised refunds; they never came.
