I made a reservation for 2 nights standard double room at Swissôtel Ghuriar hotel, booked through Accor app with confirmation booking. Having an early morning arrival flight into Dubai so had to book 2 nights to ensure I had the room. However upon arrival at the hotel was told the bad news that the hotel was full, even though I had send the hotel an email in advance confirming my arrival at the hotel early 5am in the morning. So they cancelled my book and booked us into their living apartment for 1 night but made us pay us for two nights. This was a bad scam and I understand that tourists not travelling to Dubai shouldn’t allow hotels to scam loyal Accor members by scamming them from bookings and not offering confirmed booking!

The Receptionists are extremely slow at their job, they take ages to sign you in. Half of the time is spoilt there. They gave me an extra which I didn't ask for, and then charged me AED 150 for the same. Room Service takes ages to respond, or doesn't respond at all. Bellboys are too few for such a huge property, never available. We had to take down all our bags by ourselves. Not recommended for big groups.
