Excellent customer service service major improvement since our last visit in October 2023. Very attentive staff that remembered my birthday and made it an extra special experience. The room attendant Muzaffer was extremely helpful and very attentive to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We will definitely be staying here soon again.

For a 5 star hotel expectation is higher than this. It does not have the facility of 5 star hotel. Experience inside the hotel like Massage was way too expensive. I am living in Sydney Australia. Spa and massage services in Sofitel Sydney which is real 5 star luxury hotel is much cheaper than here. Also, we expect to pay local currency rather than Euro to the hotel while we booking not after stay.

Landed at airport expecting smooth pick up to hotel(we had booked pick up with hotel) -but no info about car/driver -called hotel 4 times waited 30 min outside airport and then they booked taxi ! at reception during check in guys gave keys without giving info about wi fi /breakfast and other hotel facilities (which we asked later porter!) -our room 1802 was below restaurant ,so we could not sleep till 1.30pm because of music noise and chair /cleaning afterwards -next day requested room change in rooms -new room 1307 had aircon issue in bedroom which reception did not agree for 2 days and said all is fine as they adjusted temp remotely but requested them to send maint guy to have a look which was done on last night of our stay and he confirmed issue with aircon -there was other issue of lights in room 1307 wardrobe not getting off on switching off master light during night -which next day maint guy said cannot be sorted so switched off from electric panel! Last but not least on 1st april morning around 11am we went to restaurant to have food since morning i had to rush to see doctor in hospital with my wife -Gentleman in restaurant given us menu and took order but after 30 min we chased for our food then a lady appeared on our table and pointed out previous menu given by gentleman is not correct we need to reorder from menu she has given us -which we argued with her but she insisted we can complain to reception but she cannot execute our order from previous menu ! we then went to reception and narrated full story with no feedback from them -hotel has given us very bad hospitality experience -will not recommend to anybody thanks

Very dissapointed

Everytime I organize a tryp to Istambul I always booked the Sofitel hotel . I was there in March for my birthday and was a very bad stay . The room i got was with an unconfortable bed , the duvet had been cleaned in a wash machine and all the feathers were shaped like tennis balls. I complain to the recepción and the problem was fixed . I find unbeliveable that in a hotel like the Sofitel i need have this type of problems . My last stay was in 2023 and i notes the difference .. Same problem as in the second room and they put a small duvet compared to the bed . That is no aceptable !!! Another big issue is the pre-autorithation made in my visa of 1542,79€ that after 22 days still blocked . I send several emails but the last 3 emails i was completely ignored. I sent an email to the Guest experience SPV , Mr Edrugul Can Erduran and still no answer and no apologies . I dont recomended this hotel anymore . The standard is no the same and they dont care about the customer feedback . Such as shame !!

As an Accor Platinum member I have stayed in many hotels of different brands & in many different countries, but this was the best experience I have ever had. Everyone I dealt with at the hotel from the front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, quest services & in particular, housekeeping (special mention to Emre who worked on my floor). Everyone provide efficient & helpful service &/or advice. I was under some stress due to problems with by outward flight so to have such a caring, relaxing & efficient environment provided by the Istanbul Sofitel was greatly appreciated. Top hotel!
