It was new year eve and we didn't satisfied as much as Dubai Rixos Premium. It was far different experience. We had 2 nights reservation but stayed 1 night and left.. The restaurant was not quite luxury the foods not exlusive (for example we ordered sushi and came with somon fume was like carefour market level sushi off course the chef changed it. I ordered kelle paça was again just like only the broth no meat in it) 31th of December night we went to dinner where us to invite in the restourant was the outside and decoration of the ground stone etc were avarage balık restaurant. Staff was good. The hotel was clean but the room was average. I paid 3 person but you add portatif bed was awful that scratch my leg while passing thru..

Formal Complaint Regarding a Highly Disappointing Stay – Reservation on 01/01/2026 To the Management of Rixos Tersane Istanbul, I am writing this email with great disappointment and genuine frustration regarding my recent stay at your hotel. This is not a message I ever wished to send; however, the shocking contrast between this stay and my previous experience compels me to do so. I stayed at your hotel last year, and the experience was exceptional in every sense. It was one of my best trips, and I actively recommended Rixos Tersane to my family, friends, and wider community with full confidence. Unfortunately, my stay this year, on January 1st, 2026, was the complete opposite and fell far below the standards expected from a five-star Rixos property. Please allow me to outline the key issues clearly: 1. Extreme overcrowding throughout the hotel, to the point where it felt more like an airport or train station. This overcrowding resulted in a dramatic decline in service quality due to accepting guest numbers far beyond operational capacity. 2. Unprepared and overwhelmed staff. The team appeared unable to handle the pressure—no welcoming attitude, no initiative, and very limited service, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. 3. Total lack of privacy. The hotel felt like a public facility, with visitors freely entering from the mall area without any control. This is highly inappropriate for paying in-house guests seeking privacy and comfort. 4. Guest Relations were practically nonexistent. I clearly informed the hotel that I was celebrating my wedding anniversary. There was absolutely no acknowledgment—no welcome note, no greeting, no room decoration, no gesture of any kind. This is far below what one would expect from a five-star hotel, especially from the Rixos brand. 5. Contradictory and unprofessional handling of room upgrade requests: - I was first informed that the hotel was fully booked and no upgrades were available. - Two hours later, I was offered an upgrade for an additional 100 EUR. Charging extra is your right, but misleading the guest or providing inconsistent information is not acceptable. 6. While waiting in the lobby during severe cold weather and snowfall, I developed a strong headache and requested a simple painkiller (such as Panadol). I was told: - Someone would go to a pharmacy, - The delivery would take two hours, - At a cost of 1,400 Turkish Lira. I leave this point without further comment. 7. Breakfast experience was extremely unpleasant and embarrassing: - We arrived at 10:00 AM (30 minutes before buffet closing). - Not a single table was available. - No assistance from staff whatsoever. - We searched for a table ourselves, as if we were dining at a crowded public restaurant. - We finally sat at a very dirty table. - Despite requesting cleaning more than four times, the table remained untouched for over 20 minutes. - Only after I had to raise my voice—when the buffet time had already ended—was any action taken. 8. Unprofessional attitude regarding late check-out: - We requested a late check-out from 12:00 to 14:00. - The receptionist repeatedly reminded us that we had checked in at 3:00 PM. - Eventually, they “graciously” allowed only one additional hour, until 1:00 PM, as if it were a favor. - Despite accepting this, due to staff delays, luggage assistance delays, and extremely long queues at reception, we physically left the room at 2:00 PM against our will. 9. Room quality: - Located on the first floor. - No view whatsoever (neither city nor sea). - Windows do not open at all, resulting in no fresh air or ventilation. I am not writing this email to escalate unnecessarily, but rather out of deep disappointment and shock. This experience does not reflect the Rixos standards I previously knew, trusted, and proudly recommended. Last year, I spoke of Rixos Tersane as one of the finest hotel experiences I had ever had. This year, I left feeling exhausted, uncomfortable, and extremely dissatisfied. I sincerely hope the management will take these points very seriously, investigate what went wrong, and respond with a clear and respectful explanation that reflects the value of returning guests.
