The hotel is good value, with comfotable beds and a decent contintal brekfast. Shower could have been a bit cleaner, but was acceptable. We were told we could leave the car in the car park (payable locally) until 13:00, which is less than 24 hours, as check in is from 15:00. However, we actually returned at about 15:00 to collect our car, with still about 1/2 of the parking spaces still avaiable so there is no reason to restrict the parking so tightly...

Typical Ibis Budget, basic no frills accomodation, small room, but clean and well maintained. Breakfast was OK too. This hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the port and town centre. They have secure parking and there is some free parking spaces right in front of the hotel, which really great considering the central location. For me it's an ideal combination of location, facilities and price.

We had a lovely night in the Ibis Budget in La Rochelle. The air conditioning during the heatwave was a god send and the two bedroom family room was great value! Lovely quiet room at the end of a corridor. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
