Parking was easy and reasonably priced, and we enjoyed some time by the pool. We also liked the very friendly and professional staff on the reception desk. The coffee shop in the lobby was very useful and not at all expensive. The hotel itself is very pleasant with a nice bar and restaurant, and the location was good - not too far from central La Rochelle but pretty quiet at night. We did think our room was small for the price we paid and lacked storage (drawers specifically). The bathroom had nowhere to hang damp towels and was also very cramped. The pool towel procedure was pretty dire - you are provided with two towels in your room and there wasn’t any possibility of exchanging them for dry ones during the stay - and without a towel rail in the bathroom we struggled to get them and swimming things dry.

Firstly, all the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. In particular Daniel and Clarissa on front desk, and Karim in the bar/restaurant area. They went out of their way to be kind & helpful, chatting to all guests and offering any advice needed. Clarissa resolved an issue for us during our stay and was extremely professional and efficient. Thank you. The cleaning stafff were very friendly and I would like to mention that in particular. They are fabulous, and work through rooms in an efficient and professional manner. Breakfast was excellent and the pool and relaxing terrace make for a wonderful stay. This was a return visit for us, and we look forward to coming back again soon.
