Superb hôtel let down by irritating shortfall in the restaurant experience

We booked in for two nights during a July week-end. Recently renovated with a fantastic central location the hôtel is off to a great start. However the customer experience is clouded by staff who don't seem to be fully committed to understanding that personalised service is appropriate and necessary. The restaurant is a point in question. Bistronomie seems to mean no bread plate, no table cover, and a menu that is not lisible for all foreign guests. Overall good but not great.

Good hotel with nice facilities, great location to explore LaR and situated next door to the aquarium. Comfortable rooms but on the small side. Helpful reception and bar staff. Plenty of on site parking but be prepared for a hefty charge on departure!
