Small and simple standard room

Room was not big, with simple decor and furniture. But bed, matеress, pillows were comfortbale, curtains were blackout and all that allowed to get enough sleep. The bathroom is combined with a toilet, very small space between toilet and wall. Breakfast (fresh orange juice, different coffees, boiled eggs, sausages, musli, bakery, cheeses, jamon) was ok.

Unbeatable location!

A no-frills hotel right next to La Rochelle's old port, the best-possible location to see the sights, do some shopping and have a drink or a meal. The bed was quite big and comfy. The hotel rooms look quite new and are clean and big enough, a bit of a tight-squeeze between the TV and the bed though. It would be nice if they would enable the possibility of changing the language on the TV using the remote control, that way if French is not your native language you could watch a film or series in its original language. Another option would be to have Chrome-cast or similar gadget. The toilet was also a bit of a tight-squeeze. The breakfast room was quite busy when I went down at 9:00 and it was difficult to find a spot to sit. Breakfast was OK, the bread and croissants were fantastic but I did miss some bacon and either scrambled, poached or fried eggs as there were only boiled eggs. Sausages and baked beans were available. All in all an enjoyable stay that I would definitely repeat if I go back to La Rochelle.
