Perfect location in La Rochelle. Bathroom was quite old and dirty. We did not let our son put his feets in the shower but had to carry him for showering. You can see under the sink that the finish of the furniture is pretty rubbish. It does not look very professional. For such a price per night, I think Accor can afford a clean furniture. Finally the breakfast is so minimal and there is no space for everyone. We had to wait for people to finish.

This hotel is on prime location, but unfortunately very badly managed and maintained. Outdated rooms and facilities...what a pity! Breakfast service very bad as well. The positive point is the nice crew at reception 🙏!

Aircon was not working. I accept that it was an extremely hot day, but we had 34°C in the room. We got 3-4hrs sleep. We left La Rochelle 08:30 on the Sunday morning because of that. Sunday breakfast was not up to standard, bacon was stale, bread was from day before. Most positive experience, was the night porter who was friendly and with a positive attitude.

We have stayed at this hotel several time before and it is in overall good condition, comfortable and extremely well located for the marina, bars, restaurants and shops. However I believe loyalty is mostly based on the people, and the staff here are excellent. I accidentaly booked the hotel on the other side of the port and so we arrived without a booking. The two people on the desk ensured there was no drama and contacted the other hotel on our behalf. They were able to transfer the booking and there was no penalty charge to me. They could have left it to me to resolve my error but they didn't. They took ownership of the problem and resolved it. The two staff involved were Agathe and Lady Pommie, and they are reason enough for us to want to return.

Great location in the centre. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was basic and rather small without much storage space but fine for a short stay. Breakfast was good and all we wanted but not much choice if you want something cooked.
