A room was allocated for the family who ever amenities were missing and constantly had to chase for things like iron and ironing board. Toiletries weren’t replaced and it took 3 phone calls and a few visits to get things sorted. The room should have been ready and checked. Also on Check out we were told to wait for 5 minutes whilst the checked the room so they can return the deposit, 30 minutes had passed but no response asked again what’s happening we said we can’t wait any longer as we had a taxi waiting to go to airport

The suites at the Mercure Gold offer an elegant balance of comfort and convenience. Staff members like Navodya, Judith, Maryam Sayed-Ali, Syed Shah and Kamal went above the call of duty to be helpful and hospitable during my stay. The facilities were quite satisfactory for a business stay. However, the lack of access to a swimming pool was rather unusual given the cluster management structure. All in all though, I'd recommend the Hotel to a friend as the second best hospitality property in the area after the newly established Novotel.
