Nice hotel in a good location really close to public transport. However the building activities in front of the hotel made our stay not one I would repeat. The hotel staff was kind enough to offer a room a bit further away from the front of the building, but you could still clearly hear the building activities (sometimes starting early in the morning, till late in the evening). Having a relaxed moment at the pool was therefore also not an option. I realize that building activities are 'normal' in Dubai and cannot be avoided, but if we would have known upfront we would have chosen a different hotel.

There was only a bit of noise at night from the construction on the opposite side. Otherwise the room was clean and i enjoyed the swimming pool.

I was told by the receptionist that my packages were not delivered to the hotel. First the security person said they were not there, then I asked for them to double check. Receptionist also confirmed my packages were not received after looking at their luggage room. Earlier that day Amazon courier has called me to confirm my packages were received by the reception desk so I was confused of them not being in their storage room Then I contacted Amazon, was on the phone for 30 minutes with them. I was really upset and thought I was scammed. Later I was passing by the reception, asked if she maybe found them since I thought they were delivered to your sister hotels nearby and asked for her help. She said they found my packages. They were indeed delivered to the reception but somehow was registered under a wrong room for some reason. The “package” in question by the way is a large suitcase in a giant box, you really can’t miss it. She was apologetic which I appreciate but your security guy said nothing eventhough he was the first one who said my packages were not there. I left really annoyed by all this interaction

There is only one drawback at the moment with this hotel. There is a huge construction site directly in front of the hotel. They often work well into the early hours of the morning. Be prepared, as it can be very loud. I can only suggest bringing earplugs.
