The food was excellent, restaurant had a nice ambiance. Room was ok, some furnishings a little dated. The communal areas need attention, broken sun loungers, dirty chairs, holes in carpets etc.

A 2 night stop in the French countryside - a beautiful historic building with lovely knowledgeable staff who are clearly appreciative of the history of these buildings. Food was great with a good selection of wines. The only suggestion I would have is lower the price of the water at the bar 6euros is expensive.

The hotel and facilities are well located for who wants to be away from the more busy places. In overall the staff is very welcoming and helping to make your journey pleasant. There are however too many niggles with the facilities themselves. Both our room and the children`s, had to many issues which should have been spotted and repaired before clients are let in. Bathroom light missing cover, 1 bathroom sink water not running away, water cooker not working, hair blower working for 10 seconds only, bathroom and front door not been able to close without brute force. Same is true for the deckchairs around the swimming pool. All smaller niggles, easy to repair to make the stay perfect. Hotel staff have been informed for the next visitors.

We stayed for in total 3 nights, having diner on 2 of the nights. Nothing was too much trouble with the staff, and they always had a ready smile on their faces. Breakfasts are outstanding with a great variety of cereals,breads, patisserie etc. Outstanding coffee and fruit juices as well. Rooms were spacious, clean and cool, with excellent shower arrangements. It's worth mentioning that the evening meals are an experience in themselves and not to be missed. For the cuisine served up ,it was extremely well priced, and the wines very reasonably priced. All in all an amazing experience, the last time we visited in November 2025 it was snowing. We enjoyed that experience, but staying in the summer months is even better. We can all thoroughly recommend the establishment. I believe the rooms we stayed in are due to be upgraded, if so, it would be ideal if USB ports were incorporated in the outlet plugs for ease of charging mobile phones etc. A minor criticism. Look forward to visiting again soon!

This Hotel is in its own grounds, the room itself is tired Scuffed walls, no Plug in the wash hand basin, and a broken toilet seat in the public toilet, a short period of maintenance could put this right.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, 30 min drive from Saint Malo. If you are looking for a nice hotel in the natural surroundings this hotel is an option. Is not newly renovated, but is in good condition. The restaurant is nice, good food and reasonable prices. The only downside I could see is the outdated outdoor furniture and few places to stay and enjoy the garden. The pool is nice, but again few updated beds, the rest old and too used. Pool was very good, clean and heated.. if you have a dog, they are welcome 😎

We have been coming here for a while now , we holiday in Hourtin camping and this is our treat before getting the ferry home . To be honest last year was very disappointing and not up to your usual standard BUT this year it was just perfect we had a wonderful room with an outside patio , the evening meal was very good plus the breakfast was a good start to the day . Definitely will return hopefully although we have just been advised that the Barfleur ( ferry from poole to cherbourg) will know longer be in service after November..

An extremely pleasant overnight very convenient for the ferry the next morning. The hotel is grand, comfortable and has excellent staff. Dinner was full so not experienced, breakfast outside on the terrace was delightful and excellent. The swimming pool, given the weather was 40, was lovely.
