Staff were delightful, friendly, accommodating, and helpful from initial introduction - which involved an appreciated explanatory tour of facilities and recommended places to visit, including highlights, shops, cafes and dining suggestions - to departure. Reception, back office, breakfast and domestic staff were consistently kind and attentive. My room was well maintained and clean, and its decor appeared to have been well considered and designed right down to the multi-connection cube plug with USB ports on the room table, the luggage rack and 'normal' coat hangers. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was even an automated shutter for the outside of the window if required. The room was perfect - including size and storage - for my needs.
