Our annual one night stay with parking and breakfast. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with a really good bathroom and excellent shower. The bed was comfortable but the plastic protective membrane made it unpleasantly hot. The small hard ledge at the bathroom door is dangerous for bare feet, poor design. There was little street noise. The bar and breakfast were excellent as ever. See you next year.

Location and parking are the positives, breakfast and rooms are not that great. Breakfast with limited choices and not replenished. No vegetables or fruit. Rooms are the tiniest I’ve ever seen, with no aircon.

We were allocated an apartment which was fabulous compared with the small triple room we had the previous year. An issue was flagged with the card I used to prebook but there was no issue when I phoned and I used the same card to pay. Great location and good breakfast.

The hotel staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The room was kept spotless, though it was a little hot but the receptionist provided us with a fan. The breakfasts provided were excellent.

Regarding your comment, the keys automatically deactivate at 12 p.m., which is check-out time; we cannot change this. When you came down to let us know that your key had deactivated, we recoded it for you right away. Obviously, it is not the staff who decides to deactivate the keys. We booked the Ibis Saint Malo Plage because of its fantastic location. It is breathtaking. However, the rooms are so small and basic that one can't but think that Ibis has squeezed every last penny out of that location. The rooms are so small that one can barely turn, there is no way to store luggage or clothing - overall it is quite claustrophobic. I would recommend the hotel provided that a person can't find any hotel at Saint Malo beach.

Small, clean room with a great view of the beach and sea. Friendly reception upon arrival, breakfast and bar were as expected from an Ibis hotel. Bed was comfortable and there was very light traffic on the road outside the front of the hotel. Definitely need to pre-book parking.

Hotel is located around 15 mins walk along the seafront from the historical centre, which is a pleasant walk. Room was as described and matched the photos. The room, bathroom and hotel overall was exceptionally well maintained. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 spare pillows if needed. The windows were soundproof so we were not disturbed by traffic on the main road. Staff provided us with fan on request as the weather was warm. The hand wash, shower gel and shampoo are the same liquid so if this is a problem for you bring your own toiletries. The staff were friendly and hel pful but I would have appreciated if they could reply in English straightway given that I started the conversation in English. English is my second language too and I cannot learn the language of everything country I visit even if I wanted to.

Lovely seafront location. Fairly small room with limited storage space so only suitable for a short stay. Breakfast not as good as others. IBIS budget in La Rochelle offered more choice. Nevertheless a great location to sit and relax looking at the sea.

A short walk from the station and arrived at the hotel right on the sea front. Welcoming and helpful staff on reception gave me the perfect first impression. Clean and airy room and chosen option was a sea view (paid a bit more but so worth it). I had an early start the following day and they organised a continental breakfast for me (at 0500h!!!!). Excellent hotel
