A warm welcome, a good size room with very spacious shower room and a great breakfast, everything we wanted for our brief stay in Dinan.

Good location. Public parking nearby but quite narrow if you have a big car. First encounter with the hostess at the welcome desk was unpleasant. She was barely polite. We were a bit early (45 minutes before check in time) we asked if the room would be really ready at 3 pm as we were going to a wedding and needed to change. She just answered ‘it should be’ but no guarantee…we chose that hotel because of the location and the 3pm checkin time, also because it is part of Accor Hotel but obviously not the same service. The rest of the staff was nice during our one night stay. Good breakfast. Room ok, stained carpet. Not good value for money.

This hotel is ideally placed for enjoying the charms of Dinan medieval centre. It is unfortunate that parking of cars is so expensive and even very difficult for dropping off luggage. There should be a deal with the authorities for preferential visitor rates so that more money can be spent in the cities businesses. Beyond the breakfast chaos, the hotel is great. It is an old building that has been modernised in an imaginative way so our room had a spacious bathroom but possibly at the expense of space around the bed in the room, which had quite a tricky sloping floor. The complimentary all-day tea and coffee self service is a real plus against the meanness of the Vannes Ibis on previous nights.

Dear Mr.W., Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay here overall. Dinan is indeed a lovely town and we are lucky enough to be situated right in the centre! Concerning the parking, we unfortunately have no power over the pricing of the public car-parks, but the costs do tend to rise naturally in high season. There is a space in front of our hotel however, where you can stop to drop off luggage if necessary before parking. We are sorry to hear your experience of breakfast was not up to your standards. We do warn our guests of how busy it can get at certain times, with peak hours written at reception. Unfortunately they are not always respected. In terms of the absence of bacon and scrambled eggs, they sadly are not a part of the IBIS STYLES brand, unlike the Ibis in Vannes you stayed at. Luckily, we have a various spread on our continental breakfast with pastries, cereals, fresh fruits and juice among many others. In the hopes of seeing you again soon. Sincerely, Mollie / Reception

The room was all the way in the back of the hotel on the ground floor. With a view on the backyard where hotel staff would take their (smoking) breaks with a view into our room. We are currently in a hotel in Brest at the same rate, but much more pleasant, and this on a weekend rather than a week day. A room rate of 100 EUR instead of 150 EUR per night would have been more appropriate.

Regarding the room rate, our prices vary depending on the season and demand, as is common in the hospitality industry, especially in a popular destination like Dinan. The hotel was sell located and very clean. Nevertheless, few things are missing : Bottle of water, having the water fountain without bottles is not convenient. Sunny eggs can be a good plus

The ‘little manager’ and her staff were amongst the best we have experienced anywhere. Friendly, informative and helped plan our stay. The ‘little manager’ (shedud have a shared office though), and another member of staff had excellent English and we would like to express our thanks to them both. They were very hands on and involved in every aspect of the hotel from reception to clearing tables. They both helped to make our holiday.

Staff were friendly and hotel is well situated to the town, restaurants and shops. However, the quality was not up to the usual Styles standard we have experienced in the past. The breakfast was mediocre.

It's alright, with comfy bed, decent breakfast, nice staff. Rooms are a bit small, and central heating rather than some blowers would be nice. Overrall it lacks the wow factor that I'd associate with Ibis Styles.
