We stayed overnight but were very disappointed with the room. It was cramped, shabby and dirty, needing a thorough deep clean and more refurbishment. The bathroom in particular was old and urgently needs refurbishment. The single beds were narrow and mattresses poor despite the mattress topper. We have stayed on two occasions previously when we were given much better rooms. There was a large coach group staying so we wonder if they were given priority choice of rooms. The room was expensive, especially given the low quality. We are looking for alternative accommodation for our trips next year.

Arrived at the hotel and was so very welcome by the wonderful Ukrainian lady in the reception witch very kindly helped me out finding a good parking space for my long wheel base panel van. Room is clean and comfortable, ideally for a short stay.

This hotel is just far enough outside of St Malo to reduce the room rate and allow for a quieter stay. It's within easy reach of the ferry port too. There's an artisan boulangerie just outside and a hypermarket 50 metres away. Rooms are small but comfortable although the aircon is quiet noisey. I'd use this hotel again without hesitation.

Welcome was first rate, our room was not quite ready but were offer a complimentary drink @ the bar whilst we waited. Hotel was quite full (tour coach of German Tourists) but the staff managed the situation admirably.

Check in was easier although could Have been earlier. We left early in the morning so the full rate for the room was charged and we were there less than 24 hours. But understand no one else can use the room while we have booked it for a small amount of hours

Just 10 minutes drive from the ferry and the usual Ibis experience with friendly staff, clean room. The late bar serving local beers most welcome after a long day travelling. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of fresh and some regional products. A large secure car park with space for a car with bikes on the back. Many thanks.

We have been coming to this Ibis for a number of years now and have always had polite, welcoming staff who have always tried to help us. My husband forgot to add early check-in to our booking. When we arrived (early as our boat had come in early from Portsmouth) we asked if we could pay the €30 for an early check-in. The answer was a straight no as the hotel had been full the night before. Whilst we completely understand that all the rooms might not be ready at the same time, where our room was, was being cleaned first. The male receptionist could as a courtesy said to us that if we waited an hour he would ask to get our room ready so we could check-in. We were more than happy to pay for an early check-in but were shut down immediately. We ended up going into St.Malo in scruffy overnight boat clothes. We came back to the hotel around 2pm as we were tired and asked if we could buy a cup of tea from the bar. We were given a teapot each half filled with water . About half an hour later we were told our room was ready which we gratefully accepted. There were a number of people who arrived around 2.30pm and asked to check-in but were turned away saying check-in was 4pm. We totally understand the check-in times, but as we were willing to pay the €30 and were happy to wait for a room to be made up, we felt some flexibility could have been made. Your staff are normally so welcoming and we did not feel welcomed at all.

We checked in late and were fortunate to find a parking space. There was no food or drink available, other than some microwave-able jars, that did not look appealing. The room was very small and overlooked the refuse collection area at the back. The following night we used the Buffalo Grill next door, which was OK.

A good night sleep, very comfortable bed and ideal location for travelling. Breakfast expensive and lacklustre and room smelt as if the residents cat had sneaked in at first. Staff friendly and very helpful
