Typical of what you expect at a budget hotel. The pillows however can be better. The high firm pillows gave my neck a good sprain. I requested the hotel for soft/low pillows and they didnt have any because guess what 'hotel policy' and at that point I knew, no point banging my head against the wall.

The hotel is located on Jalan Alor, very easy to find food. However, the service is very lacking. I asked for the room to be cleaned, but it wasn't done. The room door didn't have a lock. The bathroom door was very difficult to close. The shower water came out slowly. The room was quite dusty. For breakfast, it's better to just eat instant noodles (it's a matter of taste and quality). But what can you expect, it's just an Ibis hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is very cool air conditioning.

This hotel has left us with mixed experiences. We arrived early morning and the reception agreed to store our bags until checkin time. As my wife was really tired from time difference, we asked for early checkin at 12.00. I was only possible for additional 40 USD. A bit of a scam for 2 hours... Hotel is well located on food street. A few steps out and there are lots of eateries. Bare in mind, its heavily crowded in the evenings. Rooms are nice and clean. Unfortunately, not enough places for bags, so we had to keep ours on the floor. Bath and everything else is good. Safe deposit, fridge, smart tv. Breakfast was a disapointment, barely no international options at all. Others seem to enjoy it, so... not really focused on Europeans.
