Dinner at Horizon Grill 58th floor was excellent from its beautiful view, amazing food, creative caviar tiramisu and wonderful team, Hanif, Halim and kitchen staff that made it all an unforgettable experience!

Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur was a great hotel for us. Yes, we had to wait almost 1 to 1.5 hours for check-in, which honestly felt long after a tiring journey. But once we actually entered the room and saw the view, the irritation slowly faded away. The hotel’s direct connectivity to the mall is a big plus, and after settling in, the wait somehow felt worth it. The rooftop bar is easily the highlight of this property. Sitting there in the evening with a drink in hand and the Petronas Twin Towers glowing in front of you is something else altogether. That moment is etched in my memory and will stay with me for a very long time. The vibe, the height, the city lights—everything just comes together perfectly. The rooms were spacious, well designed, and extremely comfortable. After a long day of walking around Kuala Lumpur, coming back to such a room felt relaxing. The food was good, and a special mention here—they were kind enough to prepare vegetarian food specially for us, which we really appreciated. That small gesture made a big difference and showed their attention to guest preferences. Overall, despite the delayed check-in, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur delivered a luxurious and memorable stay, mainly because of its views, rooftop bar experience, and thoughtful hospitality. A place I would definitely recommend if you want to experience Kuala Lumpur from above.

Our first time to Torito. A Peruvian Japanese cuisine. The restaurant was absolutely charming, cosy and with the breathtaking view all around it’s a bonus. Service was first class. Especially thankful to Mia who was so warm and hospitable. She definitely made a difference to our dining experience with her warmth and how welcomed we felt. Food was great. Wished portion was bigger. Shout out too to Crystal fr horizon who took us on a tour of the look out points at banyan tree hotel. These two ladies are stars of hospitality.

Our stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur from 5th to 9th January had its challenges, but the Horizon Grill breakfast team truly saved our entire experience. A special and heartfelt thank you to Chef Qut, who went above and beyond in the most unexpected and touching way. Chef Qut prepared a special breakfast for my husband and me that was not even on the menu, simply out of kindness and care. The rendang nasi lemak he prepared tasted remarkably similar to my late mother’s cooking, and it honestly made me emotional. When we shared this with him, he responded with such warmth and sincerity, and continued to take such thoughtful care of us throughout our breakfasts. His hospitality was genuine, welcoming, and deeply human — something you don’t forget. The entire Horizon Grill breakfast team was equally wonderful. The waiters and waitresses were consistently friendly, attentive, and warm. Reynalin and Halim deserve special mention for their kindness and excellent service, always greeting us with smiles and making us feel truly cared for. Unfortunately, our stay this time was affected by water heater issues during the night, which made it uncomfortable. We were also promised to retain the same room but were later moved to another. Thankfully, the view was the same as what was initially promised. Despite these issues, the Horizon Grill breakfast team completely restored our faith in the Banyan Tree experience. Their sincerity, warmth, and exceptional service turned what could have been a disappointing stay into one filled with meaningful memories. They truly represent the heart and soul of Banyan Tree hospitality. Thank you to Chef Qut and the Horizon Grill team — you made our stay memorable for all the right reasons.
