The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are nice with plenty of high quality bath amenities. Breakfast which is a la carte was also very good. However for the price point and brand I would rate the stay only 3 stars for the following reasons. 1) Check in was slow with only one staff on duty, no offer of late check out. 2) No welcome amenity in the room (as per my Accor status) although it was very good that the welcome drinks could be used at the rooftop bar for cocktails. 3) No lounge or alternate offered. 4) Service at breakfast was keen but not very professional several times the incorrect orders were brought several times to our table. Friendly enough but a higher level of professionalism expected. 5) At 1205 I received a call saying did I need help with luggage (In code that meant are you checking out now) Again no late check out had been offered and fortunately was not required. 6) Check Out was slow 10 minutes and I was passed from one agent to another, no priority desk for Accor Premium members (who do not seem to be a priority for this location). It was disorganised and there were not enough seats. The service failures are a shame because this hotel has some impeccable hard assets including the roof top. Service does not match the price point. Banyan Tree service should be impeccable and it was far from that whilst warm enough.

Great and modern Hotel with nice rooms located perfectly in the city of KL. Thanks to the whole team and their hospitality. Special thanks goes to Shafiz and his courteous manner and friendliness. As soon as we will come back to KL again we will stay at Banyan Tree!

We love the hotel in overall. KL tower view is perfect. We took a lot of photos at the bath tub. Foods are basically 9 out of 10. People there were nice. They will ask you in advance the purpose of your stay and they will customize something for your stay. Everything there gives a premium feeling which makes the hair dryer to not have a place in there. Suggestion is maybe can get something better quality brand for the hair dryer.

Victoria O Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

I was there for 2 days in October. The staff were in touch with me long before my stay helping me coordinate and book matters such as airport pick-up, tours. I felt weel taken care of even before my arrival. I stayed in a beautiful room on the 55th floor with unobstructed views of the stunning Kuala Lumpur Skyline, including the iconic Petronas Towers. The breakfast spread was excellent and offered lots of variety. I had a wonderful massage in the spa. Be sure to book a table for drinks and bites at Vertigo, the hotel's rooftop bar. The views are STUNNING! The Front Office staff, Concierge, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Laundry departments all provided excellent customer service. Most importantly, when there was an issue with my room service order, the Duty Manager stepped in swiftly to resolve it to my satisfaction. That is one of my litmus tests for how much a hotel really cares about its guests. I highly recommend this hotel and will make it my home on future visits to Kuala Lumpur. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay memorable.
