There were ants in the room. It has the stale smell. Floors were not as clean (dusty) as expected even on arrival itself. If only it had windows that can be opened ajar. I didnt know then! Useful for those under quarantine.

Overall experience was good. I would recommend to take any fried food out of the meal preparations because the crispy taste is not sustainable by the time the food reaches the guests during quarantine.

I was at Ibis KLCC during my quarantine. I loved the design of the room. Space wise -20 sq was not too small. Food was really good. Really topped most of the hotels I know. And they really overfed me. They even had a convenience shop and hotel restaurant that you can whatsapp and order from if you dont like the food they provided. Overall a really good experience, highly recommended

Stayed at Ibis during mandatory Covid quarantine, premium package. Because our flight arrived a bit too early in the morning, we were required to book an extra night at full cost. When we arrived at the hotel, we were made to wait outside in the heat to be processed, though I understand this was protocol as we had to take the service lift to our floor. When we arrived, the wood floors in our room were sticky and dirty and we had to request a broom/dust pan, as well as extra towels to mop the floor. But otherwise, the accommodations were relatively clean and adequate (the rain shower was especially nice). Though there was construction in several directions, the room was quiet and had a nice view, even of the Twin Towers. The food delivered each day was always cold, in separate plastic containers, with very little in the way of choice (the same options kept appearing). They were also inconsistent with providing our specialty meals (since both of us have specific diets) but at least were receptive to requests for special items (salt, ketchup, etc.), as needed. The quality of the meals was probably three-star, rather than four-star, and we were both a bit disappointed, considering we paid for premium. You can order items from the A-Mart across the street (mostly snacks) and have them deliver directly, of course. And the hotel did provide a complimentary snack pack (made up of random snacks from the A-Mart) upon arrival, which was helpful to supplement the lackluster meals. However, the coffee they provided to drink was terrible. Wi-fi worked very well: fast and no connection issues at all during the 10 days we were there (one of the reasons we chose this hotel, since we had to work during our stay). TV had few channels but that seems to be the standard in Malaysia. A/C, fridge, and other appliances worked well. Checkout was expedient and staff was friendly (the few times we interacted with them). Might stay again, under different and better circumstances.

I take a premium package for quarantine. I choose this hotel because they’re say menu at this hotel is good. But when i stay here, this menu just so so, and when I want to change that menu I need to get inform 1 day before and by the same time they didn’t tell me what the default menu for tomorrow until I get that food..

In principle of any hospitality refund taken at least 14 working day minimum. Reservations department been handling, responses and giving guest correct information time to time without any hesitation. As earlier email I mentioned due to restriction movement order bank industries have certain operating hours meaning the working hours shorter than normal operation hours. All process done online, it matters of waiting our turn to be serve. We absolutely understand your situation, same goes to all travellers worldwide. We will do our very best. Stay home and stay safe. I WANTED to stay at this hotel. It has the nicest rooms in its class - and better rooms than some hotels a class above it. The rooms are well designed with excellent desk space, plenty of electrical outlets, and bedside table space. The rooms are clean. The showers are brilliant. And every room I've been in at this hotel has had incredible views of the Petronas Twin Towers. The pool is small but relaxing, at least when it isn't full of people swimming in their underwear (it could do with more supervision if only to make sure there are plenty of pool towels). BUT... on my first stay, after I got trapped in Malaysia unable to return home to Thailand, in April, we were given less than 24 hours notice that the hotel was becoming a government quarantine center and that we would be moved to a less-nice hotel for the remainder of the stay we paid for. Ok - extraordinary times and all that - I get it, I accept it. When I finally had the opportunity to return in July, both 7-day and 30-day long stay packages were being offered, so I expected there should be no problem with my stay. After a few days there, I was given less than 12 hours notice that I had to leave the hotel due to it becoming a quarantine center again. They offered to put me on a "green zone" floor but the pool and gym were to be closed. I had taken a 7-day package and was on the cusp of getting a 30-day package, both requiring prepayment. What if I had done the latter? I'd have been screwed. I've been living in hotels for over 4 months now. I have to budget very carefully. Why are they offering these long stay packages if they knew this was possible? They had to have known. Now I am at the nearby Novotel which is crappy. I just can't give a good review while they are bringing in guests, and worse, selling pre-paid long-stay packages, despite the possibility of this happening.

Both times when we had to be converted to a Quarantine Centre was due to a request from our governmental bodies who needed us to accommodate quarantine guests due to our hotel having a larger inventory. When we had the long-stay packages running, the government has stated that people returning to Malaysia were to quarantine themselves in their own homes. However, upon seeing the number of infections rise, our government has decided to instill the quarantine centres once again and that's when we were called upon. We truly apologize for this and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again once the situation improves itself. we thank you for your patience with us and we look forward to having you here in the future! PS: You'd definitely be refunded fully if you chose to book the long-stay package with us as our guests are not at fault :)

Very disappointed that there was no business center. During the virus mayhem I was not able to do any research for flights and ticketing.

Good bed and good pressure at shower. Great views if you get room at upper floor, but you can hear the music from upstairs bar. However, the bathroom has a problem with sewage smell which pretty much destroys the mood. Overall, ok stay.
