1. During my stay from 20-22 feb more that 80 percent of the guests are chinese speaking, yet none of the front desk staff can speak mandarin. I confirm this with duty manager that there are no mandarin speaking staff at all. 2. Extremely slow check in. Staff is untrained too 30 mins to calculate rooms fees and prepare for my check in when everything is clearly shown in app. I have to assist front desk how to calculate fees. 3. No customer service - i use the room phone and press “0” to request for items severals time across 2 days, no response at all. I had to request from front desk directly. When asked, front desk lie to me that this is manned by call operator but when i go back to my room and try to call, the same person from front deck picked up as i can recall the voice. 4. Unable to enjoy benefit - visited the bar at lobby, was trying to use my drinks voucher for coffee or tea. Was told there isnt such option and i cant do take away. I have stay in multiple mercure brands hotel globally. This is unheard of. I understand this hotel is relatively new, however this is no excuse for untrained staffs and bad customer service for a 5 star hotel and especially in a tourist area. Pls look into this immediately and take corrective actions.

I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang and overall had a good experience. The property façade and reception area were impressive and welcoming. The staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. My check-in experience was smooth and pleasant, thanks to Mr. Adam, who assisted me professionally and efficiently. I also truly appreciated the flexibility provided with both early check-in and late check-out. The rooms were neat and comfortable, though the property does feel a bit older compared to other Grand Mercure hotels. The washroom was clean and well organized. However, housekeeping could improve in terms of attention to detail and consistency. The food quality was good and enjoyable. The swimming pool and fitness centre, however, could use some renovation, as they didn’t quite reflect the usual Grand Mercure standard. Since the hotel is an older acquired property, it doesn’t fully give the same vibe as some other Grand Mercure locations. A special mention to security staff Dil Bahadur, who was extremely helpful and supportive during my stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance of major nearby attractions, which makes it very convenient for travelers. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great service from the team. With some upgrades to facilities and improvements in housekeeping, the experience could be even better.

Since the hotel is new, I would say everything is still immaculate, however the carpark access is not for disabled person. Luggage must be left at lobby prior entering the carpark, which can be hassle if you’re travelling alone. The room is well appointed and welcome amenities are amazing. The breakfast buffet is spread out in every corner of the restaurant which may feel like treasure hunt, but all of them tasted great. This hotel is promising to be one of best. I look forward staying again.

Great smiling welcome from Ms.Sally (Manager) sorry if I wrote the name wrongly. Rooms were fantastic neat and clean. Location is 10 minutes walk to Berjaya Times Square mall and MRT. Everything is well organized.

location is nearby to tourism spot, however long queue during check-in, some amenities are not ready in room, hot water is not functioning, breakfast difficult to keep the pace with crowd
