While the Executive Lounge and breakfast teams were professional, the Pool Bar experience was a major failure in hospitality. We approached the bar to redeem a welcome drink voucher near the end of the service hour. Instead of receiving a professional explanation regarding the closing time, I was met with an inappropriate and hostile service manner. The staff member repeatedly and condescendingly questioned my literacy, asking "Can you read English?", which was deeply insulting and uncalled for. Furthermore, the subsequent response from the Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage, was a generic canned email that failed to acknowledge the severity of this verbal abuse. The proposed compensation—a complimentary buffet for a future visit—is entirely impractical for an international traveler. It is a zero-cost gesture that demonstrates a total lack of sincerity or understanding of the guest’s profile. This was not a professional recovery; it was a dismissive attempt to avoid accountability. This is far below the standards expected of a "premium" hotel.

Recently stayed at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre for a short business trip. The hotel continues to stand out with its strategic location, within comfortable walking distance to Pavilion KL and surrounding city attractions. The room was relaxing, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable after a long day of meetings. Both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. Bravo to Mr. Kiesel and Ms. Kash for their leadership and warm hospitality extended by the team. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to experience the hotel facilities during this visit, but certainly looking forward to returning again in the future.
