Hotel was undergoing renovation and in a mess. Rooms were noisy with noise from guests in near by rooms and the hall way. A building site next door started work at 6 am. That was 4 am our time. On a Saturday. We had just flown in the night before. Couldn't get a drink, or anything to eat at the hotel as it shut early. No sleep. Bathroom was super poky and really steamy - no ventilation when having a shower. Just really disappointing for the cost. I left really fed up as it was a lot of money for us

I was comfortable with my last stay. The only negative issue that I had was, I found 2 cockroaches crawling on the floor. Maybe it needs insect spraying to get rid of those nasty insects.

Check-in time aligned well with my regional train arrival and a short (uphill!) walk made the hotel very convenient. Welcoming staff, spotless and spacious room, excellent dining and room service, and a very comfortable bed and quiet sleep all meant for a most enjoyable stay.
