Not great, not terrible

Clean, comfortable room. Good check in and out. Breakfast was so-so, crowded, noisy, no scrambled eggs, my table got cleared while I was at the breakfast bar. Its nice to have a quiet bar to do some work in after I check in. The top floor bar is not this. I get you have a rage of clientele, but that's a not really amenable for professional hotel guests.

Unusually disappointed

Parking was an issue. After a very long drive, told car park is full and you should park across the road which was also full. Finding a carpark in Brisbane on a Friday night for someone who doesn't know Brisbane is not an easy task. I stay at Mercure King George Square because they have valet parking. While staff are still friendly and helpful, I may be looking elsewhere from now on.

Waited 30 minutes to check in No smile just a blank look of disinterest from evening restaurant manager so ate elsewhere Arrived for breakfast to be informed reception hadn’t added us No cups or mugs for hot or cold beverages Then when checking out we were nearly charged double for parking and breakfast No apology given Had we done automated check out we would have been $75 down with little change of recovering it Pretty crappy overall

time taken to check in is too long I have stayed several times & each time I am required to complete phone, email details etc. Are these not retained from previous visits.? Express checkout - is this readily available?
