After a long trip we were advised a $50 deposit was required. Booking.com nor the Mercure advised this upon paying for the room prior to arriving. We were then told an additional cost for parking would be charged, when asked if alternative options the staff were unhelpful and appeared disinterested at our request. The car park location to the room elevators is poorly designed. The offered seating area in the lobby is not appropriate for all ages both young and elderly. Keep your shoes on at all times the carpet in the room in disgusting. If you can afford the extra $50 got to the Hyatt!
