Although check-in queue was huge when we arrived the check-in staff were pleasant and apologised for the delay )there were a lot of people in BNE for Travis Scott concert). Great location with easy access to King George square bus station across the road and train station a short walk away. Short walk to Queen St Mall for shopping & eating. King George Square across the road for Town Hall (Museum, Shingle Inn café, Clock Tower tour, self walking tour of town hall, Pig n Whistle pub) all close and accessible. Great rooftop bar (16 Antlers). The room was good but bathroom a bit dated and in need of repair (crack through sink basin, towel rail hanging by a thread on one side, dodgy tile patching where something has been removed in the shower.. possibly a hand rail). Night staff on the ball and appropriate amount of questions and ID required when I attempted to enter hotel at 2:00am without my keycard (partner left casino earlier than me and took both cards accidentally) - staff let me in after appropriate measures and this makes me feel safer staying here. Check out was very fast and easy.

Well located and nice rooms

Check in was quick, staff were lovely. Its fairly well located and a walk to everything. Downside is the parking situation. We waited 15min for the valet to bring our car up. You'd hate to be in a hurry to get anywhere. Valet is the only option to park there.

Check in process wasn’t quick, very tiring after travelling all day with kids. Tried checking in 15 minutes early which has never been an issue before as all other hotels I’ve stayed in. Told to come back in 15 minutes so had to line back up and wait another 30 mins. Bathroom door handle was broken. TV remote didn’t work properly.

Bad Room Cleaning

Very poorly cleaned room. I found a small spider on my shirt at the robe. Very bad customer service to send the invoice. It took several days and multiple communications over chat and phone while it should be done instantly at the checkout.

Location wise and food at resturant was good. Room feels old and furniture showing age. Towels are bad quality and needs to be changed, I have even found a hair in one of them. Lack of storage space near the bed and no trash bin in the room, it was only in the toilet.
