I've been staying at Mantra Midtown for many years, and I have referred many business partners and friends to stay at the hotel over the years. A few years ago, the manager at the time recognised my loyalty, commitment and support, and said that I will only pay $20 for parking per night from that day on, and it was honoured for many years, and the last time I stayed at the property Easter weekend 2026, the girl working the desk, said that I will have to pay $35 per night for parking, so I explained to her and even showed her heaps of previous invoices spanning over a few years with the $20 parking fee. She honoured it but said that the new management wasn't going to honour it in the future. That was a bit disappointing considering the amount of money, effort and commitment I put over many years to become a Platinum member with Accor. I stayed at the Johnson Hotel in Springhill last weekend and they didn't charge me for parking, gave me a bottle of wine and 4 drink vouchers because they recognised the loyalty, I'm not one to complain, I've been very successful in business, because of my recognition to customers and most importantly customer retention. I just feel I had to let this be known, it's not about the money, I have plenty of money, it's all about appreciation and recognition for supporting these programs. Thank you for your time. Polite reception lady, was able to get me in early. Was central to everything. Breakfast across the road, quick stop next door. Fantastic set up. The noise works which I was informed about wasn’t even that bad. Overall good stay.
