On arrival I was asked to pay for the room, I informed the receptionist I had paid via the Qantas app 2 months prior. He insisted that I wouldn’t have so I paid again. The next morning I followed up my concern with another receptionist who confirmed I had paid twice and refunded the payment. The hotel was well located, the room we were allocated could do with a carpet shampoo or replacement.

The rubbish chute sits right next to the lift, so you're hit with the smell both ways — waiting to go down and stepping out when you return. Hard to avoid. We booked for 4 guests but were only set up with utensils for 3. Had to ask for the extra set. Also some kitchen appliances were broken. Another request, another wait. These things... they add up.

We understand how unpleasant the odour near the rubbish chute can be, particularly given its location close to the lift. While the chute is part of the building's common areas and outside of our direct control, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue to raise these concerns with building management. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the missing utensil set and the kitchen appliances that were not functioning properly. The apartment should have been fully prepared for the number of guests booked, and we regret that additional requests were needed during your stay. My room was located on Level 23. While the room itself was acceptable, the corridor had a persistent unpleasant odour. The internet connection was extremely poor, despite my enrolment in the Accor loyalty program, which advertises enhanced internet access for members. I stayed for 11 nights and, at check-in, was asked whether I preferred housekeeping service on Friday or Monday (with at least one service typically provided during extended stays). Unfortunately, the room was not serviced at all during my stay. The most concerning issue occurred when I attempted to use the sauna. Upon entering, I noticed a very strong odour and subsequently discovered human waste on the timber bench. I reported this immediately to reception; however, I did not feel comfortable returning to use the facility afterward. Disappointingly, no member of management contacted me to acknowledge or apologise for this incident. As a result of these experiences, I will not be returning and will reconsider choosing Accor properties in the future.

We have reviewed these matters with our team, and the sauna area was immediately closed for deep cleaning once reported. Further investigation also confirmed unauthorised trespassers had entered the property, and a police report has been made. I am sorry we did not meet the standard expected, especially during an extended business stay.
