Very difficult to find this hotel even though we used google maps the street is so very busy it was hard to see your signage. Would recommend something, if possible, sitting on the footpath to indicate where hotel and reception is.. the whole car-parking situation and walking to the hotel is just a rigmarole .. thank goodness for the receptionist, she was gorgeous and certainly made up for our frustrations. I had booked a corner suite with city view .. paid extra for it.. thought we were getting something amazing.. was so disappointed with our view.. looked straight out over the ugly roof top of the plaza.. our breakfast experience was also disappointing , food was ok .. but were treated somewhat rudely, we waited to be seated, no greeting from staff member, she asked for our room number, like we were a nuisance, highlighted it on her sheet and walked off, no greeting, no instructions just left us standing there like dorks… we waited a while because we thought maybe she was getting a table ready for us, as the table choices were limited because most were dirty, due to no communication and realising she was not coming back, we chose our own table that had been cleared but not wiped, getting the attentions of a staff member was not possible, so I cleaned it myself with my hand sanitizer and serviettes.: had a good nights sleep bed was very comfy. Shower has mould growing in grout (supply your staff with dish wash brushes, makes it very easy to clean the grout with) .. other than that room was clean and tidy.. upon leaving once again staff member was very lovely, the rear of house is letting down your front of house.. we will not be recommending ibis and will not be returning, our experience was so disappointing, we paid $420 for our room and breakfast both were very average the poor service in restaurant appalling. I wished I had done more research .. we could have had a beautiful breakfast along the riverside somewhere and stayed in accommodation much cheaper than this … definitely nothing special and definitely not value for money
