The hotel is nicely located in the city and within walking distance to the shops. The stay was okay except for an incident that was a bit confusing. I had already checked in and had an issue with my key. I went to the reception and queued in the line for All Accor members since I am a Gold member. When it was my turn, the young Asian lady with glasses at the reception said in a loud voice asking me to give way to another person who was queuing in the regular line for another receptionist. She said it loudly and appeared to be in a passive-aggressive manner, which drew attention to me. Since I did not want to cause a scene, I just abided. I felt embarrassed because of this. I was under the impression that I was in the correct queue (there were two queues, and one was for All Accor members, which I am). I didn’t feel it was appropriate to say that out loud in front of other guests—she could have spoken to me privately when I reached the counter. Fortunately, the other receptionist was helpful and fixed my key issue despite working overtime, which I really appreciated.
