Room wasn’t ready on arrival, after lunch Check in was at bar Promised late check out next day if signing up with Accor , even it was stated key was coded unable to access room after 1100 Took long time for someone to come up and open room Aircon / heating not operational, extremely cold overnight, nil extra blanket available Staff appeared overwhelmed with multiple functions Room layout very nice

Go stuck in the lift on arrival day one My bed sheets had holes in them eg three. I slept with a towel across the bed , to cover them. The steam from the shower set off the fire alarms day two . Got I trouble and scalded like a child from a random employee who told me I should have the exhaust fan on , sorry I did . After the man tell me I could stay in the room whilst washing the soap off there is another knock at my door this time a staff member from the front desk , accompanied by two fire men. They all asked why I did not leave . I stayed because the man said I could stay. Clearly a lack of communication along with the inconvenience caused to other occupants. Please also note it is very hard to hear the fire alarm with the shower on and the bathroom door closed. Yes a rather bad experience, one I would prefer not to experience again. It is not a great feeling to hear someone opening your door when you are naked.

I had to stay overnight in Brisbane due to my flight route for work and wanted a comfortable hotel to stay in before the long flights from Oz to South Africa - this placed served that purpose perfectly and I took advantage of the location of the hotel.
