It was a pleasant stay and very relaxing. Room 204 toilet exhaust fan needs to be fixed makes a rattling noise

Perfectly well-located for a stay in Brisbane. Get the regular 'free' number 30 bus (down the corner) to take you around to the eateries of Spring Hill; or to the entrance to Central Station; or to Queen Street in the center of CBD. Compact but well-designed rooms, with your own varandah.

Overall I was very disappointed with my stay at the Mantra. First of all, the room i was allocated with, the light near the shower wasn’t working so i ask if i could change roooms the lady at reception came up and had a look, she asked if i was happy to stay in room with light not working and i said no. She said i could move to a bigger room for an extra charge of $10 per night, after a very long day travelling and needing a shower i changers rooms. The next morning early i was still laying on the bed naked when someone barged into my room, when i spoke to reception they said they didn’t know i was in that room. What disappointed me the most was the lack of house keeping, i had my booking for 3 nights and the other for 2, both rooms were not made up during the whole stay, when i spoke to reception i was informed that rooms are only done if requested the day before, if i had’ve know this I would’ve requested it. The last thing was the other room, i had booked, the cleaning was not up to standard the bathroom was not cleaned well and when my friends pulled back the doona it was covered in Fresh blood, reception were informed and a new doona was provided. I really don’t like to complain but i disappointed with my stay. For $177 per night i expect much better.

Staff were kinda rude, room was nice but kind of over priced (personal opinion), terrible for parking, location was perfect

Cheryl was very friendly that she made me a long black when she realized the self serve coffee machine was not working Ria and Rebecca at the reception is very helpful in terms of arranging early checkin and late check out.
