I stayed 4 nights and I am disappointed that no housekeeping to provide me new towels, sufficient toilet paper and collect rubbish. Room has a little smell but no air fresher provided to remove those little smell.

The rate you booked did not include daily services, however additional services can be organised at an additional charge. Alternatively, our friendly staff is always available to give you fresh towels and new amenities upon request. These rates allow both hotel and guest to reduce their environmental impact and keeps costs down for the our guests who can then tailor their services as they need during their stay. I can also see that you were in house for 4 nights. Guest that choose to stay for 7 days or more will receive weekly housekeeping services in which all linen and amenities would be replaced and the room fully cleaned. While I am truly sorry that this was your experience, I would like to thank you for your honest review as it is only through such feedback that we can improve both our product and service for our valued guests. The bed was comfortable, it had everything I need but was a bit dirty. There was a stain on the sheet and the coffee mugs were stained

Stay was fine - clearer communication would have been greatly appreciated however re: charges unfortunately it was not made clear upon check in that parking was not being charged and it would be charged at end of stay even though i was informed i had to pay for parking upfront which lead me to believe that that charge was taken care of then upon check out I was told i had room charge expenses and they would take it off my $100 deposit except it hadn't been. It wasn't till a day later I was told there were outstanding charges

The parking is organised on arrival and the bill is then added to your room account to be settled on departure. Guest are given the option to take this charge and any other bills incurred during the stay from the $100 security bond. Your parking was $60 for two nights, leaving you with $40 bond remaining. Therefore your 2 restaurant bills took you over the limit. I have spoke to my team to make sure this information is clearly being explained on arrival to avoid any future confusion. Great location, close to central station and the city center. House keeping can be a little hit and miss with refreshing in room items, all in all though good location with great check in staff who can't do enough for you.

The staff at reception were wonderful, storing my suitcase, fetching me an umbrella, advising me about coffee options! However the bathroom in my room (#708) was a bit wanting. The carpets in the room too. Both floors could be a lot cleaner, with stains removed. Also housekeeping shouldn’t give new consumables if the opened ones aren’t yet empty. They should also keep the bathroom door closed so the aroma of the bathroom drains don’t drift into the room all day while I’m out.

Was clean and satisfactory

There are tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, although some rooms will have a coffee machine and not a kettle. Water can still boiled in these machines. The operations of the stay was as per usual, great staff - easy check in and out. As a Mantra member I was put on a top level, however the room was a let down. The safe was broken and was displaying low battery which was concerning as I had quite a few valuables I wanted to put in there but felt not necessary upon arrival. I had left the room to get some snacks from a convenience store however when I got back the air conditioning was not working, even from pressing it on the unit and remote. I needed to go out for a work meeting so left this for later on. I was going to call front desk to advise and get someone to come and fix it while I was out, however because the safe was broken I wasn’t feeling comfortable and didn’t have time to stay and get it fixed. I arrived back at the room at 11pm and didn’t feel the need to get anyone to fix it even though it was dead heat in the room. I opened the balcony and walked out for fresh air, only to find the A/C external unit was switched to OFF. I switched it on and the A/C started to work. I was quite cautious of this, however had no problems with it after this, apart from it turning off every 15 minutes. I had to stay up for another 30 minutes just to fix this and figure out how to turn off the timer option. Overall, I had stayed at this hotel previous and felt excited about coming back, upon departure this time around, I will be looking at other hotels for future travels. Thanks for your time.

I had a quick trip y Brisbane and needed a place in the CBD to stay. The accommodation and staff were great. Clean and tidy. Room wasn't really set up if you had to do a lot of work in the room due to limited space.

Good morning. When people travel and boog hotel would like to enjoy their stay and not fight with: 1) Wrong advertisement (in ACCORD publicity there is M for Mantra and Mercurio) 2) Not advise for a deposit or right in the disclaimer clauses (about deposit who I dont payed in Mercurio Melbourne) 3) The deposit by credit card after 20 days I don't received back 4) room was cleaned not every day Only with a good predisposition of the employer we know these information and we have cleaned and new bath towel

I hope you can accept my sincere apologies that we have failed you and that crucial information about the hotel and your reservation was not clearly available to you at the time of booking. Your feedback was passed onto our corporate team while you were in house to update the Accor's website to clearly advertise the properties check in policy and rate inclusions. This has since been corrected on the website so all valued guests are given access to clear information and are aware of the the properties terms and conditions. Each property is unique and holds a different pre-authorisation amount according to the properties terms and conditions. Not all Accor properties hold the same amount and is why they only hold $1 at Mercure but $100 at Mantra Terrace. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the card issuer for a period of up to 14 days for local banks and up to 30 days for international banks from the date of pre-authorisation. Again, each bank is unique and can hold a pre-authorisation for different lengths of time depending on their own policies. I would be more than happy to contact your bank to request the immediate release of this pre-authorisation if your bank has yet to release this hold. Mantra's logo is the full name in blue lowercase, were as Mercure is well known for their large purple capital M. I do apologise for this confusion when choosing your accommodation on the Accor website. Twice we have stayed with you and it has been so good. . I come down for medical reasons and the peace & comfort I have found there is soothing. This time we were given a later checkout & it was a great help as we come from the country & didn't have to spend as much time sitting around the airport.

At Mantra, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. I have since passed on your concerns about the the condition of your room to my Executive team as this is not the stand we expect from our staff. Regarding car parking, it is physically impossible to have onsite parking hence the need for an offsite arrangement. Our rate that we charge ($30) enables multiple entry and exits per 24 hour period whereas some cheaper rates direct with other parking providers generally have strict conditions attached to it and can certainly end up being quite costly if those conditions are not met. The rate charged, we think, still represents good value however we appreciate that guests may wish to seek out a better deal at another car park in the local area. This information is displayed on all websites that we market in. I am shocked to read that it took you 30 min to enter the parking lot as reception is available 24 hours to contact Secure Parking if there are any issues. Alternatively, a paper ticket can be taken to enter the parking lot and reception can organise to activate the code so it will work on exit. Fantastic Stay

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. A bed light shorted out so the staff attempted to fix next morning but it turned out to be a wiring issue and this was fixed as soon as possible. We were offered a late checkout by staff as we were having a rather rough stay needing to visit hospital every day and were extremely tired out by the late nights some as late as 11.30 leaving hospital so we were offered a lagte checkout which was gladly accepted. The staff even offered to help carry our luggage up to the room on arrival and down from the room upon departure to the foyer. We had lovely conversations with staff and we felt as though we were treated as if we were family to the staff members. They couldn't have done anything more for us. We would definetly recommend this hotel. We were actually visiting Brisbane from Adelaide for a family funeral so having friendly staff lessened the burden for us.
