Bed was really soft and uncomfortable. Woke up every morning with back pain due to the dip in the bed. As a request, I have always requested a walk in shower due to my knee with osteoarthritis. Hotel constantly providing shower within bathtub.

Mostly the stay was great — I have stayed here many times before and with other acccor hotels ,The restaurant was fantastic and most of the staff were amazing— as usual.However had a very unpleasant experience with the duty manager on Saturday afternoon ( I think her name was Ebony) I was making an enquiry about the 2 for 1 meal experience with Accor hotels . She just looked down still on her computer and rudely said NO - no eye contact no explanation— Another pleasant staff member—. Heard this and came over to explain there was 30% off food and 10% off drinks— Question answered , When I asked the duty manager again if they had any reservations for 5.30 pm She didn’t answer me — so I said to her — you don’t look very happy — are you ok? She then rudely ( arrogantly) said I ‘m ok -ARE YOU ??? I said that’s not how you treat a guest —I. walked away . Another lady came up to me — and said I heard all that — that was disgusting . Her name was Lexie and she worked for another Accor hotel— Fairmont I think she said This is the first.time I had ever been treated like this in.a hotel reception ( especially the Sofitel )

Staff working valet / conceirge were great Check in disappointing. Wasn't spoken to other than sign here then handed a key Have had to follow up invoice being sent out Supposed to be premium hotel of the group but get better service at the budget IBIS
