We enjoyed our stay prior to our trip north by train from Roma Street station. We arrived early and at reception we were told that it appeared that our room would be available shortly. Unfortunately this was not the case and it wasn't available for a number of hours. Obviously a miss communication between the housekeeping area and reception. This was the only blemish as everything else went like clockwork and the staff were very helpful.

Bathroom poorly designed, having to step into a deep bath with the taps at the other end, if taps not regulated once turned on you get either hot or cold water on you before you can adjust tap. Not set up for elderly or short people, obviously designed by a man!!!

Was a good spot and pool was nice. Needs more pool seating and umbrellas as two does not suffice for sun protection. Why not have someone selling ice creams and drinks on a trolley at the pool and make it a true holiday experience. I wouldn't say its 5 star sadly. I stay at Sofitel in NSW and there is a big difference
