Service was efficient especially the delivery of the room service dinners.
I was charged twice for the Sofitel perfume I purchased. I sent you an email with screenshots and a copy of the invoice when I checked out. Could you please look into it and refund me the $65.00. Thanks.
I also have a suggestion regarding the pool. The ladders to get into the pool are not safe and I’m sure I’m not the only one who has almost slipped when getting in and getting out of the pool. I was wondering if some non slip tape could be put on the rungs of the ladder.

We enjoyed our stay for two nights. The concierge was most helpful with our vehicle as it was too high to fit in the underground car park. We opted for the club access, breakfast was lovely with plenty of options, and it was a lovely treat to have afternoon tea and canapés in the afternoon and evening. My only feedback was about the quantity of canapés, it did feel a little on the light side however what was served was delicious. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will be returning in November.

I had two separate disappointing interactions with staff. The first one when I went to the front desk didn't look up for close to 15 seconds. When she did, she just stared at me and waited to speak. When I finally asked what I needed, I felt like I had annoyed her by interrupting.
The second issue was the gentleman at reception when I checked out. I mistakenly used the wrong card on check in and needed to switch it over. He tried to convince me not to do it becuase it will take two weeks to get the refund. I was fine with this. He then went to another person and both looked annoyed to be bothered with task. He came back and was brisk and unfriendly during the switch.
I stay in a bunch of hotels and I've never stayed in Softiel Brisbane, but I won't be staying again and I will be recommending to all my Deloitte colleagues not to stay there.
The only positve was the staff at breakfast were super lovely and efficient. That was the only silver lining of an other disappointing stay.

The room was generally okay, although I was disappointed to find an empty alcohol bottle in the cupboard, which made me question whether the room had been thoroughly checked before our arrival.
The room service was very good. I was able to order food at around 11:00 pm, and the food was good and arrived without any issues.
Unfortunately, my daughter, who was travelling with me, had to return home unexpectedly due to an emergency. I requested either a refund or a credit for the unused portion of her booking, but both requests were refused. As an Accor member who booked directly through my membership, I was disappointed that this did not provide any flexibility given the circumstances. It left me wondering whether the outcome would have been any different if I had booked through Booking.com or another booking platform.
On a positive note, the breakfast was great and one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, there were some good aspects to the stay, particularly the breakfast and room service, but I was disappointed with the lack of flexibility regarding my daughter's emergency and the empty bottle found in the room.
