Spent a lovely couple of hours having high tea with an old school friend of over 40 years. Not only was the company delightful, the service and quality of food and drinks was outstanding. We had very efficient service, nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out to Jerry who made our booking; and personally came and saw us to check on everything. He is an exceptional young man, so polished and such a fantastic ambassador for your hotel. Thank you Jerry for your 10/10 customer service, you are amazing!

The bed was comfortable, mini bar was empty and had to order which defeats the whole object of having a mini bar in the room . Breakfast finishes way too early and no option for brunch . It is annoying that I can't claim my points as I used a booking agent

I love Sofitel and tend to think of the hotels as an experience. Well, this time, the experience had many hiccups and at one time I could hardly believe I was in a five star establishment. check in was OK, the roomdisappointing as I have previously stayed in your rooms that are new and sparkling In the middle of the night, after travelling 40 hours, I heard dripping and yes, water was coming fromthe light fixture. Called and Security came, I had to move rooms and had a similar one next door. I found the breakfast service excellent, the choice of food superb and the service polite and professional. The lounge was the star;why because of Daniel who runs the lounge to perfection, who cannot do enough for people, who is always there to assist. If it had not been for himI would have been totally disenchanted. The main problem was the housekeeping, I had to ask for extra hangers and also a dressing robe. The roomwasnt clean, ie the dusting was superficial. I asked for tissues, it took two days to get them after calling twice, but the real crunch was on my last day as late as 4pm the room had not been made up, in spite of requesting this 3 times. Finally a young lad came, with a duster and little else, I had to tell himto make the bed , empty the garbage etc. I was very upset . The alarm went off twice at midnight, again afterrequesting someone to come and fix it. I am very disenchanted and disappointed in the Sofitel Brisbane and it is questionable that I shall consider returning
