Spent 5 days at the Mecure Icon. What stands out is its location, fantastic neighborhood but so easy to get to other parts of Singapore from the MRT link and walking options. Breakfast was very good quality, different dishes each day. It can get very busy so I would plan to go a bit earlier to miss the queue. Rooms are very clean and well appointed, however as per other reviews they are on the small side. Was perfect for me on a business trip but not sure I would stay with 2 people, or just be aware it will be a bit cramped. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall hotel look and feel was clean, modern and fresh, great surroundings and pool area. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel is in a great central location, with lots of transport options. The room was nicely appointed , but the bathroom/shower was tiny and difficult to use. It seems the access also is an issue for the cleaners as the grout in the shower was very dirty and looked much older than the age of the hotel.
