Located in convenient location within Singapore and MRT station
Room spacious and clean.
Issue 1: Air con not working for first 2 days of stay. On arrival (evening) it was 25 C moving up to 26 C on the following evening. There was no ability to alter temp in the room. At first, we thought it may be standard may be set to a variable temp through the day so didn't complain. After 2 days we could not cope with it an enquired. The maintenance person advised it should be 21 C and made the changes. Unfortunately, this left us without sleep for 2 nights.
Issue 2: We could not open the entry door with hand/ arm, instead after swiping, needed to use shoulder and body weight to push it open. After 2 days, and worsening issues we request maintenance.
For both of these issues room service staff should actioned the matters before we had to do so. They have noticed the temp and requested check, and the door issue would have been clearly evident. These issues were very significant in our experience. We do note that staff were pleasant, responses were quick and effective, though there appeared to be recognition of how poorly we felt. We just ask: how and why were we given a room with these issues
Additionally the antiseptic hand gel dispenser by the ground floor lift (lower level group) was empty for 2 1/2 days before we brought it to reception staff attention. Not at all good as this the entry for guests coming from across the globe.
We do not usually complain but thought these issues should be raised.

We have spent a couple of weeks travelling and stayed in different hotels and Swissotel was the most thoughtful when it came to customer service! I couldn’t fault it in anyway, it is a large hotel so always busy but the hotel and staff itself were thoughtful of all the little details from room service, bell service, providing water bottles and and a little gift for our arrival.

Our stay at the Swissotel The Stamford Singapore was nothing short of brilliant. We are a family of four from Australia and visited Singapore for our first time and couldn’t fault the hotel. Location is great, easy access to public transport. Facilities were great, well maintained and rooms comfortable. Concierge service was fantastic and very helpful. We had a late flight the day we checked out and the hotel looked after our bags and provided a hospitality room with lounges and bathrooms to freshen up before our flight. Very helpful service and one we were grateful for after another full day of sightseeing. We would certainly stay again and recommend the Swissotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

Room 4671 which we had was : Very Warm/Hot. Temperature could not be brought down below : 21C. Thanks to Sue who had Technician's on 3 to 4 occasions have a look at room temperature & this helped a little but Not Entirely. Due to high occupancy we were not Able to be Moved. Our Sincere Thanks to Sue who was Super Helpful & Rozannah a great Help to us. Sincere Thanks to all the Staff at Concerge for all their Help. Great staff.

We checked in 3 rooms for 4 days for a family of 10. Initially we had issues searching for our booking confirmation but was sorted out by a helpful staff. She even made sure that our card key can assess the respective floors for our convenience. What I really want to comment was on the housekeeping. All beds were made nicely and room cleaned perfectly, welcoming us home at the end of the day. Location wise was convenient as well - right next to the mall, MRT, walkable distance to Suntec and Marina Square. Would definitely recommend!
