All good until check out when the taxi was not ordered so we left about 20 mins late. Reception sent an email to level one but they didn’t order a cab and were inside the train carriage while we were waiting. Only came out after I went back to level three.

The stay was well needed after our UK/Ireland self drive holiday as we needed to unwind and relax before heading home. Our room, exec lounge and breakfast throughout our 4 night stay was perfect.

The hotel is very modern and rooms/facilities are well maintained. The bedroom was small with limited clothes storage (even for one person). The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was of a reasonable size and scrupulously clean. The gym was good, albeit with a limited number of aerobic machines but tha was compensated for by the outdoor (covered) area with bags, rower etc. The pool was excellent - of decent length too - with plenty of loungers around. Breakfast was good - both quality and variety. The "happy hour" in the Exec Lounge was rather disappointing in terms of food offering relative to its Hilton and Marriott peers. The staff were friendly, helpful and readily available. The hotel is in an excellent location to explore the older parts of Singapore, with plenty of shops and restaurants around and only 300m from City Hall MRT.

Celebrating my birthday trip. I hot warm welcome by Miss Snekka, she greeted me with very warm welcome and Mr Ilham always greeted me with smile also assisted me about the city. Thank you every staff for making my birthday trip a memorable one. If I had a chance back to Singapore this hotel will be my first choice!
