This has been by far my best experience across all the hotels i have stayed in for the entire year. The teams at reception and executive lounge were top notched. They were friendly and professional and went the extra mile to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Special shout out to Jesper, Nadia, Sufian and Dahlia. You guys are amazing! The hotel was close to the MRT and Raffles City shopping Centre which could be accessed via underpass from the Capitol Hotel next door. (A shortcut exit to the Capitol Arcade would have been even better.) Rooms were a good size and comfortable. The only suggestions would be for a sliding door to the bathroom so you could close it for changing after a shower.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed with our stay at Pullman Hill St. Accor Gold & Explorer members- booked and paid in advance for stay to have rate lower by more than $100. Even with this, no upgrade, better position or warm welcome. At check in we were told that because we are gold we can check in early this time. By 13 minutes! You have got to be kidding me! It actually came off as very facetious so it wasn’t a great start. Room itself was small but expected to be so, no surprise there. I would only recommend if one was solo traveller. View internal so had to keep blinds closed for privacy unfortunately. Fruit platter delivered to room. Bit into a rotten apple with worm so that was the end of that! Cleaners do a great job! Linens and towels great quality. Well done there. We took our welcome drink up on the pool deck at El Chido. Very poor selection and no reason for it; if white and rose wine are same price I’m happy hour menu then both should be offered as a welcome drink. El Chido - I ordered a margarita from the bar when we were using the pool and it was absolutely terrible. I asked for some actual juice to be added to it and it came back the same so I don’t know what they are using. I asked to cancel. They had a lovely waitperson who came back anyway and offered a 3rd replacement so I felt pressured to accept. When we left they just printed the invoice for me to sign and pay. So surprised, they should be more onto it given it’s supposed to be a Mexican themed bar and restaurant. Rooftop pool is fabulous though! Great view out to harbour and marina bay sands.
