Must include muslim showers in rooms to provide a comfortable stay for your muslim guests. Moreover, I was shocked to know that laundry was not included in the stay, whereas, luxury hotels like Sofitel always include complimentary 2 piece laundry on daily basis. On top of this, the price for laundry was very high too (costed me SGD 40 for 2 pieces).

The room was large, well equipped and sound proof which is of particular importance to me! I loved the pool area, it was tranquil and relaxing. The staff at the breakfast were warm and friendly. The only complaint would be waiting so long to be served at the lobby bar on the night of checkin. They were not very attentive then. Overall, it was a good stay.

Overall the room stay was a pleasant one. The rating is given based on the comfort level of the room, staff and overall facilities. It was unfortunate that it seems like there wasn’t any room upgrade despite my eligibility with my card status. Had also chosen this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and was looking forward to it. However, comparing to other hotels, where they provided much better experience for me and my wife. Therefore, in fact this recent stay was a little disappointed.

The hotel’s easy access to the MRT was one of the best parts of our stay especially when travelling with kids. Club lounge was superb! The breakfast selection was great! We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Singapore City after our long flight from South Africa. From the moment we arrived, the hotel was a real pleasure to stay in. The service was warm and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully presented, and the whole atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind after our journey. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional, and we truly appreciated the care they showed throughout our stay. Also having train being so close was also a huge benefit, getting us all over the city with ease was very helpful, especially with our 4 year old son. This hotel was exactly what we needed after a long flight (and next flight back to Australia). We will stay here again!
