I have a good stay with Sofitel. Little disappointed that there is no late check-out. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself and wish to stay longer, 2 nights is not enough!

I had my staycation on 7-9Aug2021 with my family, total of 3 rooms. Everything was so perfect, be it the the staff from the concierge to the front desk staff, to the housekeeping staff i will give many thumbs up! Their service was really excellent! Thank you Sofitel for all the well trained staff and the of course the coziness of the room. Really no words to describe, but from my 2nd stay on Sep it says everything. :) Really thanks to Sofitel and all staff for the nice and friendly environment, really enjoy my stay so much. Thank you, shall see you all soon :)

Location was good, rooms were sizeable for a city centre hotel and views of the civic district and old shophouses were nice! Felt like a real holiday despite being in the CBD.

Thank you, we had a well rested stay. Just some minor feedback. 1. The bathroom shower area (where hard soap is placed) had a coloured contact lens from a previous guest. 2. My husband stepped on another contact lens in bedroom with his barefoot. 3. I was told upon checking in that we were upgraded to club room for free (I did not request for it) as we were regular guests but upon checkout, I was charged for the clubroom upgrade.

Clean and neat room, nice ambiance. Free upgraded room. Comes with free alcoholic welcome drink as Accor member. The setback is breakfast was only one serving so it would be better if can have more servings and increase variety of food and drinks. Also, bed mattress too soft in my opinion.

We were very lucky to have our room upgraded to a high floor corner unit, with spectacular views of the surrounding area. Everything about the room was really luxurious - the bed, the shower, the bathtub. Overall it was a really surprising value-for-money stay, considering the price we paid for such high quality. Definitely look forward to staying at Sofitel again.

I stayed at Sofitel City Centre for one night in September during my block leave as a getaway from my usual residence, and to recharge and take a break. Sofitel City Centre was the perfect place. The room was very comfortable and quiet, the pool had very nice views of Tanjong Pagar and the gym was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly too and I had a really good stay.

I am writing to share my experience at Fairmont Singapore after my stay earlier this week. It was the most unpleasant stay I've had at any Accor property, including my previous stay at the same hotel earlier this year. The check in and out took extremely long despite having a reservation, and the stay was ruined by the ineffectiveness of the staff at controlling noise levels in the next room on the 2nd night. The Sofitel property I had intended to celebrate my anniversary with my partner at was converted for quarantine purposes. I was offered a replacement stay at Fairmont barely 2 weeks before my stay. This was extremely late and I had already made plans to celebrate at places around the area. In addition, the replacement room I was offered at Fairmont is cheaper than the Sofitel property I had booked at. It was also missing the bathtub we were looking forward to. Given the lack of time to make alternative plans and find accomodation, I had no choice but to accept the offer. I was also assured that the package I had booked would stay the same, a $50 F&B credit would be issued to me and effort would be made to put me in a room with a bathtub. At check in, none of the above was confirmed with me. Instead I had to repeatedly ask for confirmation on the credit, package AND change of room. I even told that I had no breakfast included, despite that being part of the original package. This back and forth with the staff took almost 20mins after queuing. Any other room was not available due to the "high booking rate" the hotel had, the F&B credit had to be confirmed again, breakfast inclusion had to be checked. This is far from the seamless check in that I had experienced in other Fairmont properties, and my last stay at the same property earlier this year. My partner also became agitated at the crowded lobby where safe distancing was not being enforced. When the keys were finally handed over, I was reminded to charge any F&B room in order to use the credit and discounts. During the 2nd night, the room next door to ours was being particularly noisy. My partner and I could hear their TV/movie through the absurdly thin walls, and couldn't sleep until around 1 am. At 3 am my partner and I were woken again by loud shouting happening in the next room. We also could hear an ice bucket being delivered. I had to turn on the TV to mask the noise for her to sleep. I also called the Royal Service to request for some help. The operator promised to send someone up to check. This did not work, as around 3.30am, the occupants started to curse and swear with expletives, and woke my partner up again. This really scared her as she started to cry. I called the operator again and they promised to send the duty manager up. I turned up the TV volume and we eventually fell asleep around 5am. This was extremely traumatic to my partner and I. For checkout, my partner and I decided to grab a quick bite after checkout. At reception, I was presented with the bill that did not have the 25% discount applied. The staff insisted that because of the F&B credit, I was not allowed to use any discount in my package. I insisted that they check. The excuse for not applying any discount to the price then changed: Original excuse - credit cannot be used with package 2nd excuse - I did not inform the restaurant that I was an accor plus member - this is absurd as I was told to charge the bill to the room and the discount would be taken off later during check in. 3rd excuse - Antidote is not an F&B restaurant and therefore I had no Accor Plus privileges there. (I have since found out that this is false as seen on the webpage) By the 3rd time, my partner and I had been waiting over 30 mins. She was getting agitated as we both had not slept well, and were very hungry. It was already close to 3pm. The staff then told me they would be doing me a favour and apply the package discount to the bill. I accepted the bill and left to find food for the both of us. In addition, I had informed the staff that was attending to us about our experience during the night but she was unable to help other than to apologise. Needless to say, this is not an experience that I had expected, especially when celebrating an important milestone for my partner and I. I hope you agree with me that this type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not the kind of treatment I would have expected from a five star hotel of the Accor group. I am very disappointed from this bitter experience. I would like to hear your thoughts about my complaint and the steps that you are willing to take to prevent such incidents in the future. If this cannot be resolved, I am considering cancelling my December booking with you and I will not be renewing my paid membership next year.

I reached the hotel are 4pm, 1 hour later then the stipulated check-in time of 3pm and was assigned to Room 917. However, upon reaching the room, it was a complete mass with bedsheets one corner, dirty laundries at another plus unwashed cutlery at the sink as well as foods in still fridge. ( I still have the photos on my phone). It is definitely poses a hygiene issue, especially in the current covid-19 situation. Calls to the concierge was not successful and had to make a trip down to demand for another room. Request for late was turned down initially until the above mishap happen, All this despite it's part of my privilege to get late check-out as a silver accor member. Gym was limited with only 8 machines and each time frame is 4 person. Hotel staff went into my room when I was away too (Not sure this is allowed.) End in end, the stay was unpleasant and I don't feel treated as a customer even though I just renewed my membership recently.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday in Sep here with my family and as always service was top-notch! spotless, beautifully appointed rooms and great bento breakfast. i do miss the past buffet breakfast but can’t be helped. Special shout out to Riza and Andrew for always going the extra mile to make every stay so perfect!
