We were very impressed by the very welcoming staff apon arrival.Jasmine was particularly friendly,helpful and informative.Our room and bathroom were very spacious,clean and well stocked.Breakfast at Prego was outstanding. A very large variety of food to choose from and friendly efficient staff. Our room with a balcony overlooked Raffles hotel opposite. The fairmont hotel is well located close to places of interest, and a short walk to Suntec city mall, which is where the hop-on hop-off start and finish. There we were able to use 4 different colour 1 hour routes taking us to most places of interest to us in singapore. We loved our stay at the Fairmont Singapore and will definately stay again the next time we are in Singapore.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room and the view of Marina Bay was a real treat. Staff was always friendly and kind. Breakfast quality was good, and a dose of sense of humour from the staff was great (c.f. Covid Survival Kit). However, just one small thing. On the first night, we couldn't figure out how to turn off the "night light" near the shoe cabinet area. Thus, the room wasn't fully dark, and our sleep was badly affected (could only sleep finally at 3 am). Until we managed to figure out how to use the controls (it wasn't the most intuitive).

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Location is great, with amenities and facilities all nearby. concierge Service is prompt with requests and courteous. As with all hotels, there is certainly room for improvement. It’s normal for staff to be confused/unsure about different promos and changes. Communication can be better across departments.

We were warmly greeted from the minute we stepped from our taxi. The concierge greeted me by name as he unloaded our luggage, despite me not having stayed in the hotel before. I can only assume he made the effort to read my luggage label. At reception we were met with utter professionalism and I was personally thanked for my loyalty as an Accor Platinum member. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Dinner in Prego was slow and average food and we had to ask 3 times for our first beer to be delivered. Breakfast, also in Prego was average, over-crowded and cluttered as well as long wait times for a table. Overall though a reasonably good experience that would have me happy to return to this hotel.

Surprised the kids with a staycation at Fairmont, and suffice to say, kids loved their surprise. Room was big enough to accomodate us, view from balcony was beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful, and kids loved the deep bathtub!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had privacy but were given the option of a late room clean up if we wanted. The room was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the fact that there was a free flow tap of potable water with sterilised glass bottle that we could take out and about with us!! That was definitely a huge plus! JAMES, one of the absolutely amazing night staff, gave us water while we waited for our friends to arrive with our ID. While waiting, he ensured the room and keys were all ready for us to check in quickly. We appreciated the complimentary cookies and handwritten congratulatory card too! He was all smiles and showered us with kindness and care. After a long day of wedding, that was exactly what we needed to kick start our staycation.

This was our first local staycation, and we’re glad we chose The Fairmont for the short stay. My wife and i travel 3-4 times a year for our holidays, but in light of the COVID, we decided to stay safe by taking our break locally.
