Checking in at the Gold floor lounge on the 25th floor was efficient and courteous albeit a bit rushed (gentleman was hard to understand - he spoke way too fast). Got into our room - toilet has no bidet (which for a 5star hotel in Asia, is a must to maintain brand competitiveness at these levels). Lighting system is cumbersome and not easy to operate. At night, you step off the bed to use washroom, bathroom and all the floor lights turn on - way too bright and really not necessary. Hard to turn off after as they take forever to turn off by themselves. We have used the lounge for cocktail hour and for breakfast. Offering was ok, plentiful and staff pleasant. But please, either turn off those TV’s with CNN or choose an Asian news network. Or simply put images of your beautiful city/country running in a loop. Anything but US based news PLEASE!!!!
Also, the pool - very crowded w lots of kids and lack of space/lounge chairs for Fairmont patrons as it is overtaken by Swisshotel guests. Very disappointing to say the least. There are actually 2 pools; one for children and one for adults but the deeper pool is overrun with children while the child’s pool is empty. hotel management should better enforce this, similar to other fairmont hotels. Ex. Fairmont Maya Copa Again - lack of, or absence of supervision from your staff to direct families w kids to the kids pool is flagrant.
So is this hotel worth it at these prices, not certain we would consider it next time we’re in Singapore as there are many more options in this price range or even slightly lower that beat this property. It saddens me to say this as a once loyal Fairmont member.

We were disappointed that both the steam and sauna were out of order during our stay. We were informed that the steam room (Men's) was working but I found it was shut. My wife also found that both the steam and sauna were not working despite being told both were not available.
One of the reasons we love Fairmont is the steam/sauna/spa facilities. So we were disappointed that this was the second time; we had a similar experience in October 2025.

Checking in at the Gold floor lounge on the 25th floor was efficient and courteous albeit a bit rushed (gentleman was hard to understand - he spoke way too fast). Got into our room - toilet has no bidet (which for a 5star hotel in Asia, is a must to maintain brand competitiveness at these levels). Lighting system is cumbersome and not easy to operate. At night, you step off the bed to use washroom, bathroom and all the floor lights turn on - way too bright and really not necessary. Hard to turn off after as they take forever to turn off by themselves. We have used the lounge for cocktail hour and for breakfast. Offering was ok, plentiful and staff pleasant. But please, either turn off those TV’s with CNN or choose an Asian news network. Or simply put images of your beautiful city/country running in a loop. Anything but US based news PLEASE!!!!
Also, the pool - very crowded w lots of kids and lack of space/lounge chairs for Fairmont patrons as it is overtaken by Swisshotel guests. Very disappointing to say the least. There are actually 2 pools; one for children and one for adults but the deeper pool is overrun with children while the child’s pool is empty. hotel management should better enforce this, similar to other fairmont hotels. Ex. Fairmont Maya Copa Again - lack of, or absence of supervision from your staff to direct families w kids to the kids pool is flagrant.
So is this hotel worth it at these prices, not certain we would consider it next time we’re in Singapore as there are many more options in this price range or even slightly lower that beat this property. It saddens me to say this as a once loyal Fairmont member.

We were disappointed that both the steam and sauna were out of order during our stay. We were informed that the steam room (Men's) was working but I found it was shut. My wife also found that both the steam and sauna were not working despite being told both were not available.
One of the reasons we love Fairmont is the steam/sauna/spa facilities. So we were disappointed that this was the second time; we had a similar experience in October 2025.

The Fairmont is a top notch centrally located hotel with all the amenities you’ll need access to enjoy your stay. Great rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic air conditioning (a must on a typical Singapore day) - with great breakfast and cocktail, with restaurants bars, swimming pool, gym and restaurants close at hand as well. Across the road from the iconic Raffles and right above the City Hall MRT station. Helpful friendly staff come with it all.

It should be great as I use to stay next door and i believe Fairmont should be better but this stay was not as expected. Probably due to high occupancy. I was having fever first day and need a good rest so I sleep around 18:00 until morning. 8 am. But during midnight Me and my dad both woke up because a few people shouting fighting probably they just come back from drinking or else. They speak Chinese. But I was too weak to see what's going on outside.

Unforgettable service experience. They proactively offered things without me even having to ask, and they were always considerate of my needs. They emailed me when my room was ready early, asked about my flight details in advance, and arranged for a late checkout along with suggestions for lounge access after checkout. We arrived early to check in, and they worried we wouldn't be able to go up without key cards, so they issued two key cards right away. The staff member who assisted us, Mr. Zach, was truly wonderful. The lounge staff were also very friendly — an altogether memorable experience. If I had to point out one disappointment, it would be that too many facilities are shared with the Stamford. We before stayed at the Stamford, and the pool, gym, and ground-floor restaurant breakfast (one restaurant is shared, the other is not but the food is very similar) — the view is definitely not as good in comparison. However, the service at this hotel is far better than at the Stamford.

The hotel position is very convenient. The hotel connects to the Raffles City, where there are shopping mall, food court, metros and clothes shop, etc.. The travelers don't need to go outside to the metro station under the scorching sun. Along the hotel, there are many famous tourist attractions, which the travelers can visit, for example, Kwan Im Temple and Fort Canning Park.

1. The north tower is much older and outdated than south tower
2. my room at 1519 (if my memory serves me right) suffers from noises and music from the pool which is just right below the window
3. At checkout, the staff didn't have me review the bill before he printed and asked for payment. I hence paid extra attention after I paid, and I asked to review the bill. He made mistake to double charge the breakfast. I pointed it out and asked if he could re-print the bill but he said the system doesnt not allow him to do that. This is a bit disappointing and I am not sure if this aligns with checking out SOP.
