We stayed at the Raffles Hotel to celebrate my mum's birthday and the experience was nothing short of excellent. We felt truly well-taken care of in every aspect, and my mum felt really spoiled and special. Thank you for the excellent service and attention to details. It was certainly a memorable stay!

As a reputable establishment, it definitely lives up to its name. From the beautiful colonial architecture and decor, to the service provided. Top class! Even the room was beyond satisfactory. With state of the art technology, where the ipad controls everything in the room - the lights, curtains, aircon, even the television (with youtube, netflix and amazon prime). You can even call your butlet from the ipad. They are so attentive to every detail. Did the history tour with Mr Nazaimoddin... He was knowledgeable of the history of the hotel and had a pleasant disposition. Also love the greenery that surrounds the hotel that gives an illusion that you are not around concrete jungle. Also tried out Tiffin Room... Truly was a delectable experience. Though i didn't try out alot of things, the itens that i ate were amazing. If given an opportunity, i would love to stay in Raffles Hotel again!

My family and I had an extremely enjoyable experience at Raffles. We enjoyed the facilities at the swimming pool, the gym and the beautiful and serene ambience offered in the hotel. We will also delighted to walk down the "Hall of Fame" corridor where the pictures of some of dignitary guests were posted. Breakfast which were served in-suite were nice. Takeaway Lunch provided from Yi Restaurant were surprisingly packed in advance and ready to eat at our room upon check-in. Such good arrangement! My daughter and myself also enjoyed very much the dinner arranged for us at Mikuni, Fairmount Hotel. Thanks to Van for all the details in the arrangement. I like to add here my appreciation to Van for his impeccable service and like to commend him for excellent service. My list would go on and on... But suffice to say, that this is one of the most wonderful experience we as a family have experienced thus far, especially in view of the covid 19 restrictions. Well done, Raffles!

Was asked if we wanted an upgrade and told the hotel to upgrade to the best suite available. Unfortunately there was no upgrade made available to us (despite being told we would get one) and we had to ask to get one.

Everything was great however the customer service lacked just a little bit on some small things. Welcome photo. Not provided. I queried this when I returned to pick up left items. The lady at the front desk was not at all helpful and suggested it was my fault as I shoudl have received a call ??…. Further suggested that I can return to have the welcome photo done…. Again not a big thing but this suggestion is kinda ridiculous. It’s also not plausible that there was no way to contact us when we were there for two nights and there was a butler up and down to our room numerous times. Left items went to pick up after receiving call. Drove in and picked up the bag of items. Then received further contact to come back to retrieve more items. As it stands I have to return a further tile to retried the items the lady at the front desk omitted to give me.

This is our third time back for a staycation at the Raffles Hotel this year alone, and it certainly does not disappoint. The attentive service staff, the fine ambience, the wonderful breakfast service, the slightly heated saltwater swimming pool on the roof, the vast array of restaurants you can choose to eat from, the beautiful green lawn at the palm court, none of these disappoint. One of the top hotels in town, if not the very top.

From being checked in to the 24-hour butler services and the convenience of controlling the room temperature/lighting with the ipads, everything was nothing short of perfect. Truly a wonderful stay and one of the best experiences I have had staying in a hotel in Singapore.

We had a wonderful time. Even though we live in Singapore, within a couple of hours of our stay, we felt like we had really left home and gone on holiday. The staff were so attentive and professional, and happy to chat with us whilst ensuring that all guests were well looked after. We enjoyed talking to the interns and were impressed by the incredibly high levels of service and maturity they displayed. A special thank you to the staff in Writer’s Bar and the Tiffin Room - wonderful drinks selection and excellent food. Particularly impressed with the Moroccan Shiraz and Indian White! The staff made our children very welcome on our second evening. We’re coming back soon!

Amazing experience at this amazing hotel. We booked a 2-bed suite but was delightedly upgraded to one of the presidential suite! It made our year. Thank you for all the amazing staff and the offering of the hotel. Loving it!

Beyond what i've expected

The hotel didn't inspire confidence at first, given the replies before payment. Wrong dates given in emails, slow replies. After payment, it was as though another team took over completely, and replies were speedy. Replies after the stay seem to have slowed down. This was the only inconsistent thing about Raffles, which makes me feel like quality service is only for the people who have paid up for their trip. That being said, I still found my experience with Raffles pleasant. I arrived at Raffles and a photo was taken for us at the grand lobby. I expected to be sold the photo, but it was printed for us and left in the suite's table during the turn down service. The service staff also escorted me and my guests to the suite, which they felt was a personal touch as well. Staff also knew us by names, which was pretty amazing. What made the experience for me was the butler service. I've never seen such a quick response to my requests at other hotels under Accor. I made requests for - Breakfast outside my room (delivered under 30 minutes, they need to setup the entire set menu) - Extra bathrobes (delivered in 10-15 minutes) - Inclusion of my family members on the history tour - Ice Bucket (delivered in 10-15 minutes) - Wine Bucket with Ice (delivered in 10-15 minutes) and there wasn't a time where i ever doubted if they would deliver. I was upgraded to the Personality Suite (booked Palm Court Suite) and really appreciated it. The Personality Suite was in a more secluded area, so it was good for us. The history tour was amazing too ! They helped us to take photos so we did not have to worry about it. Lastly, I wished that it was clearer to Accorplus members on their privileges. Raffles is under Accor, but i was not sure if having Accor status (Gold) made my experience any more rewarding. They do their best for everyone, which is a good thing in itself, but i might be tempted to book over 3rd party sites over Accor, if the privileges are not made clear.

Although we made a very last-minute booking, the hotel managed to get the room ready for about an hour. Our butler, Sue Xian was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and efficient housekeeping service. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Despite being in the city, our room was quiet. kids love to stay here.

This is without doubt the best service I have ever experienced anywhere! I'll be back whenever I'm in Singapore. The hotel is under renovation now but, it makes little difference unless, your Raffles experience is dependant on the Long Bar experience. It's still that Raffles Tradition & Service. An experience like Raffles is Pricy but, the Raffles quality is worth every penny. The Suites are not spectacularly flashy, they are spectacularly classy! Excellent Stay at an exceptional Hotel with incredible staff. Thanks Raffles.

Indeed, I am pleased to share that we have commenced on our careful and sensitive restoration programme which will be carried out in three phases. Phase One began on 13th February 2017 and areas that are now closed for restoration includes the Long Bar, Long Bar Steakhouse, Raffles Courtyard, Ah Teng's Bakery, the retail arcade and banqueting facilities. The Singapore Sling will still continue to be served at the hotel’s Bar & Billiard Room. The other areas of the property operate as normal. Phase Two will commence in the middle of August 2017 which will involve restoration works on some of the hotel suites. Phase Three will start end of 2017 where the hotel will be fully closed. A grand reopening is planned for middle of 2018. The restoration of Raffles Singapore is designed to ensure that we retain what is so special about Raffles – the ambiance, the service, the charm and the heritage of the hotel. It is also designed for Raffles Singapore to stay relevant and distinctive by moving with the times and with its guests and adapting to the changing needs of the well-travelled and Singapore’s community. We visited Raffles as the culmination of our ruby wedding celebrations. Every aspect of the care we received was top class, from the huge airy room, the excellent meals we enjoyed to the superb attention each member of staff gave us, always remembering our names and the details of our drinks, food etc. From our first Singapore Sling with Kim , Vanessa at breakfast to the lovely French sommelier and Reuben at dinner, our stay was perfect.
