I have just returned from another very pleasant visit to Raffles Singapore and wanted to share a few words of appreciation with you and your team. From the moment of arrival, everything felt seamless and warmly familiar. The team at the driveway and lobby once again made the welcome feel effortless, and it was a pleasure to see familiar faces including Roslee, Irene, Amir and the Front of House team who always make returning to Raffles feel like coming home. The Promenade Suite was beautifully prepared and perfectly in keeping with the charm and character that I have come to associate with the property. Small thoughtful gestures from the team made the stay especially memorable and reinforced the sense of care that Raffles is known for. I was especially touched by the thoughtful upgrade to the Promenade Suite, which was beautifully prepared and provided the perfect setting to celebrate the evening with a few close friends. Throughout the stay, the butler team especially Kartini, Reena, James extended such genuine care — from the personal welcome and thoughtful gestures in the suite to the warm conversations that made the entire experience feel relaxed and heartfelt. Moments like these remind me why returning to Raffles always feels less like checking into a hotel and more like coming back to a gracious house where the people truly make the difference. Please extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved in making the visit so enjoyable. It is always a pleasure to return to Raffles, and I look forward to my upcoming visits later this year. Raffles Singapore is truly one of the world’s great historic hotels. The property is beautiful and steeped in history, yet still feels elegant and refined rather than dated. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city—and the colonial architecture and courtyards give the whole place a sense of calm despite being in a busy part of Singapore. The suites are extremely well appointed, spacious, and impeccably maintained. Everything felt spotless and thoughtfully designed, blending modern comfort with the hotel’s heritage character. Walking through the property, it’s easy to see why Raffles has such an enduring reputation. Service overall was very good, though there were a couple of small areas where it didn’t quite meet the standard you might expect from a hotel of this caliber. Because the property is such a major tourist destination—especially for photos and afternoon tea—the lobby area can be quite busy. After arriving from the airport, I was checked in at the front desk rather than in the suite, which is something many luxury hotels now do for guests arriving with airport transfers. It would have made the arrival feel more seamless. Similarly, after a long flight I had to ask for a drink rather than being offered one, and there was no cold towel on arrival—small touches, but ones that many top-tier hotels provide instinctively. Breakfast was very good by Western luxury hotel standards, with high-quality ingredients and attentive service, though the selection felt a bit limited compared to what you often find at leading hotels elsewhere in Asia. Overall, Raffles Singapore remains a wonderful and iconic place to stay—beautiful, historic, and impeccably maintained—with just a few small service touches that could make the experience even more exceptional.

Raffles Singapore is the most enjoyable hotel I had ever stayed. The attention to detail and the attentive staff were second to none. The building is immaculate, the staff / Team were also immaculate. everyone just wanted to make sure we had the best time
