Our room was spectacular, with service from all staff beyond any od our expectations. Oue only complaint was we didn't have time to stay there longer.

An iconic hotel that met expectations overall. The rooms lack sound proofing though so being on a ground floor, we could hear every footstep from the room above which wasn’t pleasant. The rooms lack sound itself has convenient tech and I appreciated the Dyson hairdryer which is what I use at home. Service, house keeping was to a high standard and our butlers were so helpful. There was a bit of a wait for food at breakfast on the second morning and it was strange that we were being seated next to the only occupied table in the whole restaurant. Pool service was great, we enjoyed the serenity but didn’t have time to use spa services. Overall I would return.

I mentioned at checkout the room I was allocated had a continuous background drilling noise above the parlour area which was disturbing.
