We had a very pleasant stay at Raffles Singapore, and overall, the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. In particular, Mr Clarence at the poolside bar was exceptionally kind and attentive. His friendly and thoughtful service really stood out and made our experience even more enjoyable.
There were, however, a few areas where the check-in information could have been clearer. At check-in, we were not given information about the breakfast location and hours or where the welcome drink could be used. We also did not receive any information about the Hydrothermal Facilities. We only learned about these facilities after asking separately and eventually arranged a reservation through our butler.
On the other hand, the Heritage Tour was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history and heritage of Raffles, and the experience was very well organized and informative.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and the genuine hospitality of the staff—especially Clarence—and the Heritage Tour made our visit memorable.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights. We arrived at 5 am, of course, before our room was available. But we were immediately offered coffee and sits in the upper lobby to comfort us until the breakfast restaurant opened. Then, we got a sumptuous meal. By the time we were done eating, the concierge informed us that our room was ready and had been upgraded. It was only 10 am. What most hotels cannot do, Raffles performed in almost a magical way. The whole experience matched our introduction to the hotel.

Checked into room and found a happy anniversary message with sweets. Staff were very accommodating to our requests (afternoon tea) and helped get me a last-minute appointment to Raffles Hospital (and transport). Resulted in doctor taking a growth out of my eye! Thank you to the fine staff for all their attention and kindness.

Linus and your floral team delivered amazingly on the wedding florals, and they went above and beyond to create such a stunning brief based on their advice and knowledge of the venue. They were all value adders in our process and we could not have asked for more. The banquet team were incredibly helpful, eager to please, eager to see what needed help and were constantly going the extra mile and being resourceful. Your staff ensured we were taken care of from start to finish, and even the guests shared that they made the entire experience of attending the wedding appear so effortless. Your team are quick on their feet, eager to learn, passionate, and always have a keen eye for how to problem solve and to take the initiative to help. My wife and I stayed 4 nights. We arrived at 5 am, of course, before our room was available. But we were immediately offered coffee and sits in the upper lobby to comfort us until the breakfast restaurant opened. Then, we got a sumptuous meal. By the time we were done eating, the concierge informed us that our room was ready and had been upgraded. It was only 10 am. What most hotels cannot do, Raffles performed in almost a magical way. The whole experience matched our introduction to the hotel.

Checked into room and found a happy anniversary message with sweets. Staff were very accommodating to our requests (afternoon tea) and helped get me a last-minute appointment to Raffles Hospital (and transport). Resulted in doctor taking a growth out of my eye! For many years I have wanted to stay at Raffles Singapore. The colonial architecture is makes it one of the most beautiful and iconic hotels in the world. Ultimately, Raffles Singapore was meant to be a once in a lifetime honeymoon stay and it disappointed in almost every area.
How can a hotel of this reputation serve machine based cappuccino at breakfast? Some of the smallest hotels in south east Asia have barista coffee at breakfast. Service was also all over the place, being brought the wrong food items from other tables.
We were equally disappointed that housekeeping did not come by on our first morning, meaning after a day exploring Singapore we returns to dirty plates and glasses and no fresh towels etc.
Other details were lacking too, such as the check in person initially saying the full amount for the room was due, when it had been pre paid.
There is no way this hotel is worth the premium price with the availability of so many other wonderful hotel options in Singapore.

I was very sorry to learn that your honeymoon experience did not meet your expectations and regret the disappointment this has caused.
Please allow me to address a few of the points you raised. Regarding the condition of your room on the day in question, our housekeeping service is ordinarily completed during the day and we do not typically perform a full room setup on a guest's scheduled departure date. As you had been granted a late check-out as a gesture of flexibility, the usual departure-day arrangements remained in place. Nevertheless, I understand that returning to a room with used dishes, glassware and without refreshed amenities was disappointing, and for this I sincerely apologize.
I would also like to apologize for the confusion during check-in when you were incorrectly advised that payment for your accommodation was still outstanding. This was an error on the part of our Front Office team. I understand that the matter was identified and immediately corrected; however, I appreciate that such a mistake can detract from the arrival experience, particularly for a special occasion such as a honeymoon.
With regard to breakfast, I am sorry that our coffee offering did not meet your expectations. Your feedback concerning the cappuccino service, as well as the service inconsistencies you experienced, including the delivery of incorrect food items to your table, has been shared with the relevant teams for review and follow-up.
While I am pleased that our colleagues were able to recover the payment discrepancy promptly, it is evident that we did not consistently deliver the seamless and attentive experience that our guests rightly expect from Raffles Singapore. For this, I offer my sincere apologies.
Thank you once again for bringing these matters to my attention. Feedback such as yours is invaluable as it allows us to review our processes and continue improving the guest experience. I regret that we did not provide the memorable honeymoon stay you had anticipated and hope you will accept my apologies for the shortcomings encountered during your visit.

We wanted to stay here after visiting the Long Bar on our honeymoon 7 years ago. We finally made it back to Singapore and were only going to stay at Raffles. It lived up to everything we were expecting. The whole experience was great. Particularly, the pool was stunning and surprising in such a dense city. It felt like an oasis.
