This was our first visit to Singapore and Raffles and we appreciated the very professional and attentive staff and their constant attention to detail. This historical hotel was renovated a few years ago and is a wonderful oasis in this vibrant city. Our suite was delightful and the generous balcony overlooking a beautiful garden was an excellent morning and evening relaxation spot. Amenities are very modern and state of the art. Dining is an experience you want to enjoy at every opportunity. This will be our go-to location for future trips to Singapore.

On arrival our room was upgraded and we received surprise Singapore Slings, cake and chocolates to celebrate my wife's recent birthday. The room was very comfortable. The amenities were great. There were two instances where service fell short. When we checked in I asked the butler for a steamer that was never delivered. The day before our checkout I went to the front desk to ask to have our luggage picked up at 7 am but no one showed up. We had to call to have our baggage picked up.
